Power kit and 6 potter on the 320d

Good mini 320d TT last nite with maniac, gameover and kong at Kayu Mamak Restaurant SS2! kong and maniac took my Vectored 320d out for a spin and thoroughly likedit too. very smooth power delivery. Like a petrol V6 now. Like a 3L twin turbo petrol V6 now to be more precise.

maniac and kong tested gameover's DTUK unit over a few days. I can't remember whether I did try gameover's car about a year back when we tested the BMW Malaysia Powerkit car together at one of the TTs.

yeah, it is important to attend TTs. Don't be a keyboard faceless warrior. Irks everybody like crazy!

I dont think they are allowing it for the 520d, because the gearbox is still uncertain on whether it can take the torque, or so ive been told anyways.

i took the brakes because it was cheap for 6 pot bbks and looks awesome, and fits the 17 inch rims ( some 4 potters barely bits in the them ) and obviously better stopping power is great with a faster car..hehe

Thats a good deal that you managed to bundle it together with the loan. Now I am considering the 6-potter as well as I saw them still on discount at the shop!

don't believe the power kit is available for the x1d, unfortunately.
other options might work - vector or DTUK or other boxes.

fyi, we already installed on X1 20d before which is similar engine as 320d. immediate improvement as some of the forumers can verify that. no problem with warranty as it is design with plug&drive technology and no memory or whatever on the ECU.

so if you free to try out, pls let us know as we could meet up for a demo.

If you join the diesel kaki gang,not only you can try Vector,there are RaceChip,DaTUK,pedalbox,pipercross available for trial,at the cost of cuppa coffee! (free installation too!)

Yep definitely join us. I've been missing the last few TTs myself but contact maniac for DaTUK and Pedalbox tuning kits.

The problem is that there's not much tuning beyond the this anymore unfortunately unless you go seriously into the mod zone or get a 330d That's where I am today, wanting more but not willing to seriously mod the engine/intakes/exhaust.
