Yeap Gunso7889, refer to Bro Mavik's post. I got my car installed immediately with PPK. So wouldn't be able to comment on anything.
Should still be awesome.
hi guys , i've been thinking to install the PPK. is it worth the price tag? and do u feel the difference since wat i c from paper its juz a little increase in HP n torque.
been scratching heads to spend on this or holiday trip :102:

Some have decided to go with the peace of mind of the power kit which you get the extra hardware such as the inter cooler but there are others who wanted to save money and just get the piggy back such as DTUK which on dyno has shown to provide more power than the PPK. The DTUK piggyback can be easily removed in 4-5 minutes depending on how hot the engine is and can be fitted back within the same time.
But seriously, if you don't do anything else, just go for the Power Kit, changes your car for the better with more power, torque and smoother power delivery with negligible effect on fuel consumption.
PedalBox only affects throttle response and not the fuel map, so it depends on your right foot. But due to the thrill from the more instantaneous response, you might drive more aggressively so burn more diesel...
As JoonSuan has mentioned, that is exactly the effects of the Pedalbox. You would tend to press your throttle more because of the surge of power. It gets you out of tight corners or off the line at the traffic lights faster which in turn equates to more fuel being used. But since you asked me to suck it, I apologize to you my friend.
I have been using the Pedalbox and don't really notice any significant increase in my fuel consumption. The function of the Pedalbox is merely to enhance the fly-by-wire throttle signal (as if you were to stomp on the throttle pedal in a stock car). As the result of the enhanced signal, I find myself only needing to pussyfoot the accelerator pedal (under normal driving condition) and the car just lunges forward. Of course if you want to have the occasional fun, you can actually stomp on the pedal and get the torque to kick in earlier (as in, the RPM will climb faster to the max torque curve).
More fumes coming out of a diesel engine under hard acceleration doesn't mean it pollutes more than petrol-powered cars. Visually, it may appear so but I read diesel fumes contains relatively lesser harzadous gases than petrol fumes.
