Paddle Shifters questions

Hi fellow forumers, my E90 LCI 320i MSport (automatic) does not come with the paddle shifters on the steering. I've read some articles on retrofitting paddle shifters on normal steering, my questions are below :1. Am I right to say that SSG ( both side push/pull ) is the only option I have as my car is automatic. SMG ( left - right + ) is only for M3 or manual cars.2. Where can I find the MSport steering with SSG shifters like this one? Or is there any similar MTech ones? I found this on Australian Ebay but I dont seems to be able to find them on BMW online store, anyone know the part numbers? View attachment 226593. Where can I find the retrofit kit or what's the part numbers?Many thanks in advance.

SSG and SMG steering are similar and can be used, the only difference is how its wired.

Thanks for the info haywire. This will give me more options on the choice of steering wheel.

No problem. I'm using SMG steering in my Auto Steptronic E39, as many others in this forum.
