Seriously the slightly higher pay u get working in Kl is not justifiable for the higher accommodation and food cost plus the time stuck in the road. :stupid:

I am still here and never regretted.. :p Why? Living in KL is fun!

I saw you replied at 10:23am in the other forum but I can't see your posting le?

I think Chip has blocked or sensored your posting or something.. darn....

it is way more reliable i think in terms of quality...just put petrol and go....haha

i took the plunge to leave Klang Valley 6 yrs ago and shifted to a place far from the hustle and bustle.clean air,no traffic jams, cheap food and lots of greens..NO REGRETS whatsoever plus i'm a stone's throw away from the SIC.

i'm such a happy camper rite now that i find that whenever i'm working outstation(which is 3/4 of the time),i find that i can't wait to get home.it used to be completely opposite when i was living in Subang Jaya those days.

keeekeee... I think I have to agree with t2ribena's opinion. It would be better off for you to sell off the BMW. I know you might still be half-heartedly wanting to keep the car - or perhaps give the brand another chance - but I can also "feel" that you have already lost confidence in the brand.

And I know you have gone through hell for these past few weeks so that is why I dare to post my opinion here for you to consider. You do deserve a better ride. And t2ribena is right - the lexus is something that you can seriously consider.

BMWs are good cars - really, they are - but I guess you were just plain unlucky (and I really mean UNLUCKY) to experience the "Bad Apple". And if I am in your position, I would have taken the "exit route" as well.

But the final decision lies in your hands, keeekeee.

We are all here for you - and we will provide you with the best support and advice that you will ever need.

All the best.

Cheers!

Call us "Stupid", "Brainless", "White Rat" or "Guinea Pig" but our scarifies is not merely for profit of BMW AG. We prefer to look at it as the frontier of Automotive Future and we enjoy being at the front line!! There's no right or wrong, opinions differ..

Someone have to take the risk and reach for the sky and set foot on the moon while many prefer to just watch and "criticise".. :p

Thomas Edison would have fail if he gave up during his 2,000 failures/attempts/lessons (whichever u wish to call it).

The "exit route" is always there should anyone choose to leave, but the door remain open for those who wish to return. I took the route long ago due to affordability reason but now I am glad to be back and place myself along with the rest in the Automotive Engineering microscope again.. :D and I certainly have no plan to leave now.

What if he buys the Lexus and still experience some problems? It can happen also. Buy a Proton instead?

LOL, thats true man. Been driving my (loud exhaust pipe) Proton Iswara hatchback for 3 years now. So far only problem was the clutch. Replaced the clutch 3 months ago, and now no problems at all.

hahaha...yalor...like Murphy's law...anything that can go wrong can go wrong...

no offense but I still dun understand why such hatred to BMW and the need of such action when it was just first fault on the car...and given the fact that it was first attempt to correct the problem...but failed...well nothing is perfect so that is why the need of warranty on new products so that it forms some level of security and confidence on such products...BMW AG or all its affiliates DID NOT guarantee in any case that its product wont fail or develop fault...well you cannot find any company in this world that claim that their product won't fail...even Toyota and Lexus...

at least...allow them the opportunity to correct/identify the problem first...then if proven they cannot fix it then take whatever necessary action to recover the losses...

i really do not know what is the problem with human nowadays...

keeekeee,

I think the problem is not THE car, but how SAPURA handle the SITUATION............I mean customer service!!! They should take more effort & make sure your painful experience through this INCONVENIENCE as minimum as possible......... :p I know deep in your heart you LOVE this car very much but because of the current experience, you brain will tell you the opposite, right?? You should make the necessary complain, best is that BMW AG know about your case so that in future their representatives
will treat other BMW owners better.

Think of yourself as though you're opening roads for others to use....... :D

That's how great your action would be....... :O

Cheers,

JeffHo
