keep us updated bro.. this is unprecedented!!

fuel pumps are serious..u don't want the item to malfunction simply for the fact that its located in the fuel tank!! dangerous with a capital D..

u should push for a full refund plus damages.. i don't blame u for being disillusioned by the experience,i would be.

good luck bro,sincerely.

they all only know one word: SORRY ... i called back today mornig to screw them one more time abt the stupid touring i got with stupid painting on it. They just send another 320 sedan brand new for coutesy car without any sapura auto sticker on it ... feel abit better but i asked for E60 as courtesy car but they dun have one ... he said will try for me. i doubt it. anyway why 3 series sedan and touring steering so heavy? feel like without power steering? is it normal for 3 series?

Why it feels heavy is because the models you are driving are with power sterring but no active steering. Some E90s have them and not all. The sports models don't have them. I feel your pain bro.

Courtesy Car

In this situation, they are supposed to give you an EQUIVALENT car.
When my four year old A6 had problem, Audi didn't have A6 so lent me a brand new A8! That was in UK though.

Yup, ie. only the 325 have active steering while 325 Sports doesn't come with it. It's suppose to be for a more "sporty" drive (i.e. E93 M3 is not equipped either)

U driving too slow.. :p but parking is truly a pain la. :(

Greetings,
If problems still persist, write to EVO mag and AUTOCAR mag. Maybe also to NST motoring section or letters section. Get as much publicity for it as possible. We are paying a premium for these cars, so we deserved much better treatment than other lesser brands.

Bro KK, realy feel for you man. Is this common to the E 90 ? i heard the E 60's has had it share of problem - but the e90's is said to be quite reliable.
Is this an aclimatising problem or is it assembly problem. I hope other e90 owners can share their ownership experience for those planning to get the e90 - esp with the good package they are now offering ( for me dreaming to own one - waiting for mine - aledy book at Tesco)

On the contrary, spoke to a friend that owns an E60 with odo clocking 30k now. I asked him how's the car.

He complaint!

He said BMW is making a lot of money from their BRSI package because his car only returned to SC once for lub change at 10k km.. now 30k km, still no service indicator yet!

... i guess you never can say then... i hope its not one of those " ur luck one"...wonder if its something to do with whether CKD or CBU ??
funny how the service package is based on the arbitrary 10k mark when BM's service indicator is suppose to accurately measure service due- base on driving condition/ style , stop start traffic etc.. ( pls correct me if i'm wrong)

he's going for a lexus..... lol.. update on 28th july on mt forum..sigh
anyway its been an interesting read for me...also it tells me if im going for a 10 year old E60 another 10 years or so, it gonna have many things to be repaired

so i wonder who's the not so lucky person going to buy his 523i used....

That's terrible news!

A friend of mine's X5 has been to the workshop 7 times in a year. Wondering if BMW is that bad lately...

Don't think this is a new thing. There were problems going as far back as E34. Anyway most of the time there is just too much electronics / sensors that gives problems when it is minor. The German electronics is just not as aclimatised to asian weather.
