Need advice : Newer 323i (E90) or Older 525i (E60)

Hi all,Still on my hunt for my 1st UDM and need advice from all the sifus here.Have read lots of good reviews on the IN6 engine, so I have shortlised the 323i and 525i model.My budget is around RM 180K and my preference is comfort over performanceas my main priority. Also my assumption is that a newer used car would likely haveless issues compared with a older used car based on both cars having similar odometerreading. Based on my budget, I believed I can get a newer used 323i or an older used 525i.Should I go for the 323i or the 525i ? By the way, I have ruled out MB for now.Many thanks.

With rm 180k you can have the best of both worlds with a 530i e60....

But I don't required the 530i power as I think the 2.5l engine of 525i is good enough for me.

If you are in KL you can pop over to Wearnes Autohaus in Segambut and look for Don to view a 525i M Sports LCi year 09 model.

This is the last batch of E60 before the F10 and is loaded with full features and trouble free car.

Comfort access entry and push start, head up display, 2013 navigation map, adaptive headlighting, auto high/low beam, brand new Michelin rft tyres, roadtax until next July, power sunroof, new IDrive system and large screen, sludge free engine because it is serviced every 6k kilometers to name a few of this beautiful car....

At 180k you are better off with a 325 than the 323. Also cant compare 3 and 5, they are such different creatures. 3 is fun for driving and the 5 gives you luxury.

Have you test drive both cars ? If comfort definitely the 5, its a world of a difference.

As for buying used cars, sometimes the difference of 2-3 years may not be prominent or possibly indifferent. Just my humble opinion.

Thank you all for your feedback. It's clear for me that my hunt for my 1st UDM shall be the E60 525i !
