Need Advice for E60(525) M-sport HID Fog Lamp...

Hi Sifu's.. Im planning to change HID for fog lamp, since i don't want any error message on i-drive...Which brand is advisable? Where can get in JB? How much the cost? Just simple 3 question....:rock:

I have not changed the HID fog lamp yet but changing the angel eye bulbs gives me endless problem. I have tried using those after LED bulbs (RM300+) and even Alpine MSS HID kit (RM600+) and both are giving occasional errors that the daytime light failed (on iDrive). If you car is the LCI model it's even worse because it runs on FRM codes which has a cold start check and will cause the bloody lights to blink for a few seconds (like Christmas tree).

Hi Rasta,

i install PIAA LED for my angel eye since a week after i took my new E60 LCi on Oct 2008. it work well until today without any faulty code.

for Fog light i recently replace the whole units a month ago and install with 4300k HID with PRIUS brand and it works well. just plug and play.

if i'm not mistaken the HID cost around 1k

Angel eyes flickering is a common problem if it has FRM codes (cold start checks):

Some cars does not have it so you don't have the blinking/flickering problem
