PETRONAS Syntium 5000. For mods add in the Ti Akrapovic exhaust system.

hi shifus,

mine is a E92 325....where to get the ECU reprogramme and how much does it cost....thanks in advance!

Forget the exhaust, like others have mention...Procede or JB remap if you want power.

I have heard so many 335's with modded exhaust..so many sound horrid..like ah beng wiralution

have you heard the sound of the akra:4:?....

hmm... so izzit using 5/40?

around how much to remap ecu, heard that around 3000 - 3500, izzit ok with this price?

omg izzit ah beng after install piping... haha i am still planning to install blowoff together with piping

i used to own an Eisenmann Race Quad, i love the sound as it is bassier than akra ( raspy), but with my AR Design downpipes, it is just too loud (could be the loudest e92 then, hahah, love the high RPM sound, sigh i miss it right now) but yeah i have sold it since, and went to everco to replicate the quad pipes, so still with my downpipes, it sounds like having an aftermarket exhaust.

its not a remap, its a piggyback ECU, an add on which it bypasses your original ECU, much better and safer than remaps IMHO, doesnt uses your origiinal ECU at all, and its transferable. means you can sell it later on. the price determines where you get it from, if you get it directly from US, you can get it at half the price here/singapore.
Proceed is twice the price of JB4. Proceed is faster and also has the temp wastegate fix. ( if your turbo wastegate is rattling, which is a common problem for our cars)

My take is, the brakes comes first... if you are up for runs, better brake pads and steel brake hose is a must upgrade. follow by the piggyback tune and air filter (whether drop in/ dual cone ) if you have money, coilovers and sway bars are good too. Handling of the car always come hand in hand with your power upgrades so that you can always control the car.

Oils - Ravenol, liqui moly, Motul, etc
Since you plan to install air filter, i presume they are dual cones, then you would need piggy back as described by M5sport.
Followed by downpipes, FMIC, BOV or RV, exhaust, suspension, brakes, ......where your money can take you. Lol
Cosmetics (like body kit, CF stuffs, LED and ......)

In anticipation of your next question where to get these stuff,
1. Online - ebay, Modbargains and etc
2. Sunway - MSD (motorsport Division), Racecraft, Best kit fiber
3. Kota D'sara Exotic mods
4. Obermaier
5. Stuttgart

Other bros, please add on to the list.

As far as intakes goes,I'd recommend the aFe Stage2 Sealed AI system.. something I'm going for myself.Modbargains special price now @USD490+.

AR Design catless downpipes..the default choice for most biturbo drivers now.Just saw aFe's latest offering, their own catless downpipes.Cheaper than AR Design's,but since it's pretty new,I haven't seen any feedback yet from anyone, even in e90post.

I'm pretty keen on HPF's latest N54 catback exhaust system.. very very light, and looks awesome.Dunno about the sound tho,for me Vanguard's exhaust sounds the best.

Bruh,since u have aFe's intake,how do u find their product?

Supergripen, i think its a bit restrictive, the normal Dual Cones Setup is much better. It looks really neat though haha.... come with airscoops ! Im thinking of ER or Injen setup, which brings the air filter further away from the center of the engine to the left side of the lights. our engine bay is too compact and too hot.

The aFe litt claims a 75% inprovement over stock..but what I like in particular about the stage2 sealed setup is that it only allows cool outside air in,and none of the hot engine bay air.
Dunno la,we'll see.I might just drive over to La Habra and see the guys at MidBargains myself on my next LA trip.Have a chat.
