Thanks bro. Any updates on your E21 and E23 project? :top:

Hi Eggie, I've been offline for quite a while. Well, I'm still recuperating, waiting for doctor's confirmation
this month end whether I can start using crutches or still using wheelchair for who knows how long.
For now, I'm able to stand up but for a short period only. No E23 project, it's my uncle's car. E21-gathering dust.

BTW, I like the no plate holder. Is this in Subang Jaya? Looks kinda familiar...

If we're talking about the same person, then that interior replacement is in immaculate condition :)

Haha yes. Did the plates in SS14 actually, near the Metropolitan roundabout.

It's been awhile since my last update. Nothing much I've done to the car lately, other than continuous usage of highways to my new workplace, and of course, the inevitable weekly visits to the petrol station to fuel up. As can be seen, FC nothing much to shout about, but it's slowly improving with the lack of driving in dreadful congestion like before.

Anyways, one thing I noticed was that the car tends to get very dusty easily, and more so after this morning's drizzle. And the rims, well don't get me started on them. They look great, but they need to be cleaned almost every alternate day... Not that I'm complaining though!

Pics taken this evening:
IMAG1332.jpg

Wheels look dirty after the downpour this morning. Rims full of brake dust, and tyre shine already gone... Heart aching so treated her to a wash this evening.

IMAG1333.jpg

Can see some streaks on the tyres.

IMAG1334.jpg

Dirt magnet on the bottom part just after the front wheels. :p

IMAG1335.jpg

More streaks

So dirty...

So, used the leftover ONR after washing the car to attack the rims.
IMAG1345.jpg

Slightly better now after one wipe.

IMAG1346.jpg

Kept wiping till the brake dust were removed.

Didn't take any more shots till I finished all 4 wheels. So here are the end results:

IMAG1347.jpg

Applied Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance Shine... Super wet look. Me likey!

IMAG1348.jpg

Tada, looks much nicer now after the tyre dressing and clean rims.

Ooh la la. Time to go for TT.

Nothing much to update other than a brief visit to Optimum a couple of Friday's ago to rectify the Inspection light warning, then realised the bonnet struts previously bought by my dad cannot be fitted onto my E32.

Been travelling a lot on ELITE lately, really good workout for the car. Noticed quite a number of drivers that simply swap into the fast lane, like this morning when a Kancil suddenly swerved into the right lane just after the Shah Alam Stadium. :stupid:

Anyways, was involved in a rather pulsating threesome with a white Hyundai Starex and a black Singapore-reg Merc AMG E55 estate, all the way from the beginning of ELITE till I turned off at Cyberjaya. Not bad, my car was still able to give the E55 AMG a good run before I followed the other two at a safe distance. No point tailgating those two cos the way they were driving, it's best that I do not follow them too closely.

Eggie bro, while cruising on the fast lanes of that Elite stretch, pls becareful of debris, especially areas after the stadium till the caltex station (USJ exit). Somehow, that stretch has always got alot of things flying about, (stones, sometimes small wood pieces, plastics etc) that can harm ur windscreen or paint. Seen and experieced quite a number of times already.
