New ONR with cherry scent. Me likey! :top:  Didn't manage to take after pics cos I was too engrossed with cleaning the E32 after cleaning the bird droppings...

Normal pipit dropping ok i think......but merpati and gagak shit is acidic !!!! Eats the paint away. Wonder what they eat/drink...Gin & Tonic kot...hehehehe

There was an article in PaulTan regarding tge bird dropping. Basically its not acidic, its the lacquer layer responding to the texture of the harden birdshit. Ill dig out a link later, Imam sudah mau semayang Jumaat.

put blanket la bro if no time to take care or either park i my house then i'll help u take care of her....kekeke

Ok tuan Imam...dig it out later..hehe

Yeah, I've read the article. Very information. So that's why my family's W140 has more apparent bird stains than mine. Seems that I tend to wash off as soon as I see any bird droppings on the E32, whilst the other cars would be parked under the hot sun for hours, and by the time I get round to working on removing them, it would've been too late.

Car is parked outdoors, and I am aware that using the car cover outdoors, with the rain and shine, will make the paintwork worse bro. :p

thats y i have a bottle of ONR diluted 1:8 and a bottle of Optimum's power clean 1:8 and some mifrocibres in my car, just in case xD

Bro I am glad you came to rescue yr paint & didnt allow to let it rot

who ever claims birds poo poo / AKA dropping is not harm to the paint - just try it & let us know

as far I have seen ....they are very very corrosive / etches - careful as they can destroy your paint finish!

if you were to leave yr paint for a few days & get baked under the sun it will become tada
read more here

i remember a couple of our last detailing work shop,we wet sanded atternborgh's ride to get the birds stains etching corrected...just be watchful...neednt take such a risk ya
