Thanks for the suggestion bro. Will take that into consideration.

Saw an E34 moments ago with Alpina rims too, plate was WDQ 525. Simply awesome la!

Some updates for the Raya holidays:

Finally sprung into action, managed to send the car in to fix the broken side mouldings. As I was unable to source for a matching set of clips + rubber linings, resorted to using industrial strength glue to put it in place. So-called temporary measure la, but at least it looks much better with the rubber strip back on.

Even whilst parked, the E32 can't help but main cucuk with the XJ40...

Thanks for the compliments bro... Not in mint condition like your various classics though!

Eggie, I'm still waiting on my friend in germany on the side mouldings... let me follow up again.

Hey Andrew, no worries. I've managed to rectify the mouldings already. Should be fine for the time being. :)

Here you go Iylia...

The trip to Ipoh-KK-KL was a good one. Didn't really push her too hard mainly because of missus sitting beside, and partly because of the dreadful weather in certain stretches, rendering visibility to be very poor in the rain. Got a pretty good return from her this time around - about 332 miles before I filled her up after the journey. :)

The E32 is still in very good shape and able to withstand the rigours of long trips! Too bad driver is susceptible to fatigue.

Update for today:

Actually went through a pool of water just after exiting Kesas at the Summit junction, towards the roundabout. It was slightly flooded on the left, but I gingerly pressed on slowly. Halfway felt the car was almost going to stall but I kept on moving ahead and proceeded home. Then left the car in my porch till 8pm and noticed the car had some sort of whizzing sound when I cranked it.

However, the car was able to start on the 2nd crank. Kept trying, and indeed, the first crank was met with that sorta whistling pitch, before starting with no problem at all on the 2nd crank. Dad said this might be due to the engine not drying completely, as it drizzled non-stop since the incident occurred till the time I first restarted the car.

I even took it for a brief spin, seemed as if nothing was wrong. Not wanting to take any chances, I left the car at home during dinner and will also leave the car untouched for work tomorrow and use back the XJ40 instead... Fingers crossed that my few seconds of defiance will not cause major damage to the car. :( Will try starting the car again tomorrow morning to ascertain whether the problem is still there.
