My new ride E39 523i

Salam, hello guysJust sign dotted lines for my new ride, year 2000 CKD E39 523i M52TU (confirm with VIN decoder) with super low milage (14,000K) unbeliveable initially, owner kept as his 6th car with full services record. Brand new looking inside / out. Engine very smooth and adequate HP. Initially looking fo new facelift with M54 engine, however difficult to find good one, most of them have high milage with problem with odometer/on board computer. Should I need to do anything to keep my UDM in tip top condition? Thank you...

hi everybody
my e46 got fan problem happen when after i change the coolant after tht when i go back home after few hours take the cars again got somee coolant leaking thn when i start the car raditors continues runnging anybody can tell wht the problem?

that is a super low mileage car. Is it possible? 8 years, 14,000km is about 145km per month!!!
I suggest you get the car's mileage checked on the key itself instead on the ECU/Dash. Some workshops have a ignition key reader. Typically the mileage cannot be tampered with.

soon will go authorized AB workshop in Melaka,
the usual place for 1st owner did all servicing, last service was done in june 08,
planed to change to fully synteatic oil, since the previous owner using normal mineral oil,
will keep U updated.

During search of my UDM, test drive of claim recon CBU from japan 525i 01/06, unfortunately the car condition not very good. Manage to note 7 digits of VIN (http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi) turn out - production date05/99, model 523i, so guys ....need to be very carefull with those recon CBU...

that 7 digit VIN is very important. Best to also go to place where they can check the car service history and past errors. Some workshops also have the key reader, which can tell a more accurate mileage than the ECU/dash which can be easily tampered with.

Asking price for recon CBU 01/06, I already mention RM 105k, whereas market value for 523i 99 model RM75 - 85k....just reminder for those looking UDM

Just call them to counter check - last service done 06/08 with documented milage of 11021km and using fully syntheatic oil, so probablility nxt service due nxt year. Car in standard conditions, no modifications what so ever, not even tinted.

being toyota fan more than 10 years (unser, prado @ camry), find new love, even already 8 years old but in term of level of equipments far.... far beter than newest camry model 2.4v.....not forget to mention total difference of driving dynamic....i'm in the different world.

Bro, I'm in JB lar. I dun send to AB as they not allowed owner at workshop area. Even I dun stick to one workshop. Normally got 2 places I go depend on what I need to do
