Yeah Ive got that too.... maybe I'll try this rainact thing as well.... where you get yours?

FYI there is a new product ... forgot the brand.... but its called the ICE range.... ace hardware stock them.... whats interesting is they have a liquid claybar product.... cooooool..... should be easier to use than MG QD + clay ...... havent tried it yet but thinking of using it for my E30 which has massive water spot problem.... was thinking of doing liquid clay bar then go with something to cut back a layer then.... wow Im tired just thinking of it.... maybe I'll just leave it be.....

Don't think claying can get rid of watermarks tho dude.

According to Octane Guy of Show Car Detailing, Turtle Wax ICE Liquid Clay Bar is nothing more that a Paint Cleaner/Glaze. You guys can read the review here....

Selespeed, thanks for the kind compliments. Wheels from BMW, I don't recall the name I'm afraid. If not mistaken, from the e46 range.

Liquid Clay Bar seems counterintuitive to me. For a liquid to lift the stubborn dirt left after washing, it has to be pretty strong.

Nice....how much do they charge for something like that? The shine looks amazing, anymore pics?:)

zaino is the best. easy liquid application better than wax that lasts long. perhaps you should also show a picture how your car in the rain looks like. water beadinging and really nice. been using this thing since 2000.

Less than RM100 per step. He charged me for 2 steps, which costs less than a 1-step wax job in the market.

Using my own materials saved me more than RM100 in total.

Bro, care to share which shop you did your detailing? would like to check it out and might do my ride there too. thanks

almost all my members in alfa used zaino. and it is truly fabulous
but i am in singapore.

call chandra @+65 62851778

Singapore 349313

the liquid is in a pink bottle and you can alsmot use your finger to wipe and buff it off when dry.

i paid him $120 to do the job on my car in 2000. it's a 3-step process using clay bar, then primary coating and then liquid polish (this is the one i kept using). it is truly awesome. i said it's the best because i have been experimenting with meguires, turtle, soft99, carnubawax (many brands), local revv, etc. but nothing is like zaino. amazing

the remarkable thing is after rain, it is so easy to clean and wash off to restore to original shine.

Wow...that really sounds like a good product. I'm using the meguiars range at the moment and i'm quite happy with the products, have been wanting to try the zaino range for quite some time but unfortunately it's not that easy to find them here in K.L/ m'sia. Thanks for the info anyways, bro selespeed! :)

That ride was Surface Prep-ed by Darren and Zaino-ed by the owner himself with Zaino wash and clay, Z5pro+ZFX, Z2Pro+ZFX with Z6 inbetween coats and Z8

Zaino is one of the best sealants out there :D. Chandra has a website @ http://www.cazcomp.com/index.asp . A friend of mine ordered some stuff from him and it take ages for Chandra to deliver. Best if you get it directly from Singapore.

Using Zaino by itself wont look good. You still need to Surface prep the car first. Like the black BMW posted by 1996E36328i, it has been repainted with Standox paints, sanded, compounded and polished with Meguiar's products :D

DANG!! Thats scary shit dude..... "whys the dude's car painted on mine kinda moment"....... truly impressive mr 1996E36328i.... u really need to get a simpler handle mate... thats a mouthful :D

Lee! Yeah, clay thing wont do nothin to water spots, thats why I said need sometjing to cut back a layer.... thinking of MGs 3 step thing.... but I feel strangley tired and malas all of a sudden.... all this talk about hard labour is putting me off doing anything.... maybe I'll just send it to some basement carpark dude to molest my car's paint..... oh yeah....your ride.... its lookin mighty fine.... the dogs bollocks I'd say, well done. Me and 535 are wondering when you're gonna get around to doing our cars ekekekekekek!

SLK dude..... change that handle dude.... you in wrong forum! Nah just kidding... thanks for the heads up on the kura-kura ais thing.... dang it! Liquid claybar would be excellent for malas people like me.....

dolceaddict..... I hope you're not on controlled substances :D.... and yes Mother's are available at ACE (in IKANO for sure) at ENEOS... very likely too. Dun forget, there's also a version of MG Gold class leather thing in 2 bottles - cleaner and conditioner... untuk rambut lebih lembut dan.....

So what say you guys about my 'good morning towel' review? I think it beats the MG water magnet thing (serious folks.... I have one and I dont use it anymore....)...

To close.... lets just remember that cars are meant to get wet, dirty, scratched on, shat on, sat on etc.... too mcuh obsession on how they look may result in paranoia and obsessive compulsive behaviour.... just a reminder for you good folks out there......

hmm its almost 1am.... where's my MG quik detailer?......

You know that car owner? I think we have a common friend? His ride is just.... I got now words to express when I saw the ride and test drove it in person recently, don't know what he did to the engine either, the power is scary. All I know is he tore down the whole car and rebuilt it from scratch and spent a bomb to do it. I think he is mad (I hope he doesn't see this haha), could have bought a new car with it the amount of money but anyway very nice work done.

Haha....bro, i think you've mistaken...my previous post was actually a suggestion to fabianyee's enquiry....not on any subtances or whatsoever. :D
