I'm not too sure about that bro lee but if you're more into durable protection rather than shine then it'll be best if you try the #21. A lot of guys like to finish off their detailing process topped with a layer or two of #26 carnauba wax tho; for exp: NXT Wax+#26, GC+#26, etc..

Anyways, it's stated that this product is best used with an application of Mirror Glaze Yellow Wax (#26) for tough, long-lasting protection and btw, can i layer the NXT Tech Wax after applying this show car glaze? Cheers!
NXT Tech wax contains cleaners so it will remove the previous layer of Show Glaze.
If you would like to layer it, NXT Wax should go on first followed by a layer of Show Glaze

I see...then should i apply another layer of #21 or #26 to seal in the Show Car Glaze? I heard the the NXT Wax has very mild cleaning properties and it's safe to apply it last as a final sealant..

the cleaning agents in NXT Wax are there to take off any surface impurities to allow NXT Wax to 'cure' and would be strong enough to remove the previous layer of glaze.
A carnauba wax such as #21 or #26 can be used to seal in the glaze.

Thanks for the advice bro! :) Btw, which one do you suggest that i should use with the show car glaze. #26 or #21? i'm looking for something that'll give me an insane "show car shine", oh yeah, mine is a black coloured car btw. Thanks. :D

since your car is black i would recommend #26, as you would get better results with a carnauba wax. however if you can find it, an enthusiast wax such as P21S would give a much better result.

Natural wax: more depth, warmth as well as added gloss
Synthetic wax: lasts longer but gives a more clinical 'plastic' look

Cool...i'll go get myself a bottle of #26 once i've finished using my NXT wax then..:)
Is the P21S from the meguiar's range as well? Saw from your avatar that you're located at KL/Melbourne, any idea if this P21S can be purchased anywhere near KL/PJ? Thanks!

P21S is a standalone brand

not sure where its available in KL, as i get mine from a supplier in Melbourne.
however, ive seen another member of BCM mentioning that they use it..maybe they can help you out :)

Thanks for the link bro maxxsp! Will try to get more info regarding the products from the website, cheers and happy detailing! :D

You're right about the more clinical look. Will try your advice on #21 or #26 soon.

Good, good. The detailing maniacs are coming out to play. Methinks a detailing TT/car wash/polish/wax session is shaping up, eh?

Hehe...yeah...i noticed that there're not many forumers here that are into detailing too and even fewer who do the detailing job themselves..:D

I'm a DIY guy, no money to send my ride to the professional detailers.. :D

Bro Lee,

Did you get your Mirror Glaze range from Harry Bright? Are the products there cheaper compared to ENEOS, ACE?

That would be so sick bro lee! :D We can have something like the Meguiar's Thursday/Saturday detailing classes for interested newbies like me to learn more about the fun and joy of detailing! :D

I am also a DIY guy. Not because I love the labour, trust me I do not, but because you can't get it done properly at the neighbourhood car wash!

However, because I am still learning, I outsource the really tricky stuff, like cutting into the clear coat, to experts at the moment while I supply all the materials. And I watch to learn...

Got the Mirror Glaze from Hypercoat directly, the distributor. They are in USJ1, Subang Jaya. I went to ENEOS, good range, 10% discount, but the prices on some items are marked up, which defeats the purpose of the discount!

That sounds like fun. If there's enough interest, we can organize. Hypercoat also conducts workshops... ;)

Sweet...i'll go check out the products at Hypercoat asap. If i've not mistaken, i think the only product from the professional range that's available at ENEOS is the #7, am planning to pick up a bottle of #26 by next week to be used on top of my NXT wax..:D Oh yeah, did you come across the #16 at Hypercoat or is it not available here in M'sia? Heard that it's a carnauba based wax and gives a very similar effect and if not better compared to the #26.
