Which wheels bro? I'm also toying with the idea of going with a set of Volk or SSR..

I'm looking at RAYS or Desmond EVO Regamaster :) But afraid the adapter will flush the wheels too much. The adapter is said to be minimum 25mm. Matching the right adapter thickness, offset, width and tyres can be challenging yet the outcome will be definitely outstanding :)

bro..
how much tax that you need to pay for the clutch? thinking to get UUC ultimate flywheel and clutch set :)

The thing is, sometimes your items are held and tax is to be paid and sometimes it just arrives at your doorstep :stupid: I had 2 boxes held, 1 was released without tax and the other was about 25-30% tax. They usually tax based on both cost + shipping :motz:If they suspect the price is not genuine, they will ask you for actual invoice or paypal/c.card payment slip and if you're not able to produce or show it to them on a computer there, they will search on the internet on the value and impose a tax fee

The process is a bit pushy, frustrating and slow from one counter to another back and forth. I got there at 4.30PM and left about 6.30PM. There was a guy waiting there from 11:00AM :thefinger: Good Luck bro ! :)

Lots of clearance issue. Mostly 114.3 PCD hence an adapter is required, ultimately bringing down offsets. The Yakuza wheels more nice to toy on an E30 or E34.

i know its japan rims bro...im oso trying before this but there r need small mod to fix them nice n properly...becoz in market the pcd r more to 114.3 for jdm

SSR and Volk/Rays do make them in BMW fitment. I've seen them being used on many BMW autocross and track cars in the US.
But perhaps sourcing for them here could be a problem..

True bro, but for I'm not gonna settle down for a wheel for the sake it's Japan style with PCD120. I want the pattern that blends with the E36 lines and to my liking. The ones that usually sell with PCD120 isn't that appealing for me. Most of the cun ones are 114.3. Let see how it goes. Maybe I'll keep that Idea for future plans. :)

Hi Bro pardy, just ran through your thread. Interesting journey you have here. About the tax, I got stopped once and summoned to custom. Came with paypal receipt and they let me go as the price is below rm500. This is for the headlight assembly as it come in a big box but cost too little and has bmw written on it, they need to understand ebay bargain better.

Cheers

Usually I avoid using "BMW" on the package. Depends on luck mostly. Hope to see your manual journey turn reality soon. :)
