Albert of WP Auto don't have the software update. Better do the updates prior to remap. Last update for e39 was in 2004.

OK thanx. i know isaac last updated the software back in 2009 with Mspeed. so should be latest. kua.

I had a look at this car, was reduced from 68k to 54k, serviced at M1 Segambut so had a look at the service history... Normal servicing was performed on regular intervals and parts replaced when needed...but...three times radiator assembly has been changed since 2006, once every 2 years. Last time overheated in 2010 it had to be towed to the workshop, but no top overhaul done. Running OK as I took it for a drive before checking the service history.

Performed visual inspection at M1 Segambut, no serious issues, only some wear and tear parts need to be replaced.

Dealer offered 3 month warranty on the radiator but I declined to buy the car in case there are underlying problems.

Bro, I am interested in this
On picture it looks quite a looker.
Mileage stated 90-95k.

Mind sharing with me more about this car?

I see so many posts on the E39 makes me itchy to get one and play

You can check the service record at M1 Segambut, WJD xxxx. They will know which car. Formerly owned by Huawei Technologies, so if you know someone there you can find out more about it.

buy a new house with bigger car park, preferably underground carpark for all your "toys"!

hahaha.. At the moment, I am using Bro's Maxxp House to park my two other " Toys"
Am thinking about getting a place in Johor, Horizon hills, so weekend I can go and play with the " toys" there..

COE in Singapore just dropped down to 69k, which is what I am paying for the F10.

Serious bro? Not roundel but Three pointed star...

1st review after the change of Vanos seal, O2 sensor and MAF

FC : slightly improved from 13.4 to 12.6l/100km (actual. OBM still show 11.5l/100km)

power : slight improvement in low end torque

Engine sound : Engine sound now more "compact", previously felt like some "leaking" power

Total cover 450km, will continue to monitor after the "break in period of 800km".

I was there when the Mech open the engine. was satisfied as the interior look clean and new. even the mech surprise the timing all intact for a 9 year old car.

the previous owner maintained the car very well and i made a brief calculations of total amount spent on the car over the 6 years owner ship ( i got full service receipts). a total of RM40,000+ (including tyre replacement, repaint whole car, of course)

I have added RM18k over last 3 mths for 1st phase make over. now slightly itchy for 2nd phase.... RIMS...he he

In case money wise is not a problem, then pick one..:4:

19" - BBS LM
18" - Alpina Softline
17" - Ori Msport

of course money is an issue! ha.

I am considering 18" so that it wont be to bumpy like 19" or 20", and tyre price also more "reasonable"

any comment about these?

Bro, our e39 banyak manja one, she has special wheel hub (bigger) compare to others model, so buy a set mean for her. All 3 above u show us are not mean for e39, unless u don't mind the re-bored rims.

Really? i thought they said all suitable for E39? how to check whether suitable or not? make me hesitate as i remember reading somewhere on this forum someone changed the rim to other size and the ECU prompt error message.

Design-wise go for the 3rd one

ha ha, that was my original preference too. but after second view, the 1st one look "bigger" visually.
