Car's not ready yet... still waiting on some small stuff to arrive and pasang before i take it back home.
So in the meantime.... my dreams are filled with the below and the hope that bro Haywire can successfully get it working for me. ;)

Bro, i looked many times online, nobody seems to get it 100% working, the oil temp gauge and the rpm light is hard to get it to work. Not sure how seewai's car got the readings.

Don't worry bro... i know... this is what you call the just want to try phase. LOL!

Just got car back last night. Got most things done but didn't have time to send the rims to be refurbished.
:(

Here's a sneak preview for you guys with more to come later on.

Finally got some time to take some pics after a visit to the car wash. Paint's all looking nice and shiny and the shadowline trim has made a big difference in the overall look.

Below is a pic of those DIY ///M coloured strips affixed to the new "black" replacement grilles. Must say it does look very subtle but really fascinates once you notice its there.

Three quarter shots.

Original BMW E39 Aerodynamics rear windscreen spoiler fits just perfect. Best part is you don't even notice that you have something on the windscreen as you look back because it does not block or reduce the original view out in anyway.

And last but not least, the most satisfying update of all with the 'Temp' knob. Still wondering what to go for... till then will be using the momo.

Finally done the very first thing i've been wanting to do since the day I got this car.... getting rid of all that chrome.
Now, i've got a :)

That's a beauty! Bro did you paint the chrome or plastic dip it?

Nope. Old chrome trims, some pieces not so nice so bought original shadowline trim from BMW.

Thanks bro!
Gotta change my headlamps too. The Depo ones i'm using don't throw light very well even considering i'm using HID.

At least your headlamps still looks clear. If have a chance, would love to see this beauty in person. :)

Yeah, noticed quite a few E39 around this area. They used to TT in uptown papa rich right? Nowadays no more.

I see a couple around the Uptown and BU area quite regularly. There's a matte grey E39 with CF covers on the side mirrors, seewai also stays around the area and a few more if i'm not wrong.
Nvr been to any TT with E39 fellas before so i'm not really sure.
