yeah! initially thought of selling her but most people who inquired just wanted her for her 'body' only and to put a jap engine in so discussed with wifey and we were willing to sacrifice a little to keep and to maintain her as long as we can....

really appreciate my wife because she knows and understands my long lasting relationship with the car... what more can a man asks for! god bless her!

but i hope you won't go over board with those rims man!.... its like somebody wearing oversized shoes, if you get what i mean.... i don't know but that is my opinion on oversized rims on cars.... just does not fit in! one or two sizes bigger than the originals, i think is still acceptable but nothing bigger than that!

the whole package (as in the car) should be admired not just the 'shoes' (too big/oversize that attention is focused there) sticks out like a sore thumb...do you get my drift??....

sorry mopreme,

i am one of those 'purist'... if you want to put a jap engine in than one should get a jap car... PERIOD! (nak pakai BMW biar yang ori ... engine kalau dah 'celup' atau 'tiruan' apa gunanya!)

the soul of a BMW is the engine esp if it is a six potter! for me, the handling is secondary, its the 'purring' sound of the straight six which is totally awesome! the heart and soul of a BMW!

However, i have seen 17" rim in e21 in Malaysia. Ask Andre!!! Another e21 owner.. huhuhu... he had to cut some portion of the fenders to fit... huhuhu.. etc etc..

now, now nsbone! andre is a different story.... 'INSANE!:stupid: ' individual with LOTS of mullah for his big boys' toys! he... he ... he

(btw, Andre its a compliment for having the balls to go beyond the standard specs of the E21)
