I was under the impression that Biarritz Blue was a darker shade than in your pics.

I wonder what this option is: S850A Additional Export tank filling ?

Just more petrol in the tank I guess, more moving around while being exported. On/off ships, into dockyard parking etc.

I am having some problem with the Biaritz blue. My wife hates it to the extent she wont want to be in it or drive if it is that color. I dont mind and its easier to repaint to the original color. However I am attracted to the antricite grey...but I just could not find an image that would show me the exact hue of this color.

When I fill the tank it was over RM150 for Ron95 and I am sure it could fill a lot more as it was not really empty at the point of filling. I was shocked that it could fill that much....

I believe it has an 80 liter tank so RM150 for a full tank is no surprise.

Any updates on the ongoing makeover of your car?

Currently the prority is to make it smooth and reliable. There is abit more to do mechanically but its getting there.

As for the makeover...at this point I think i will try to enjoy it being as original as possible for now without changing much of its look. At the same time I am having the original 16" rims refurbished with new tryres. I am trying to source new/ better condition original lights as well....

Still the biaritz blue is troubling me..

Actually 18" wheels is also original set up for E38. There are Style 32 and M parallel which Yazmeen is selling and some 38's were set up that way at the factory.

Just spent 3k to refurbish rims and new tyres all around. Now that I am seeing the original rims refurbished the more I am incline to keep everything stock.

Is that about 600 per tyre? Sounds pricey for 235/60.

I have the same styling 60 rims as you but will eventually upgrade to 18s as soon as my wallet has the chance to recover from the 1st round of rectification / servicing!

So when can we see images of your ride..?

Got the tyres for around rm550 each.
I too just came back from one round of servicing and replacment parts. This time it was quite a bit. pocket bocor oledy.
Decided to get new aircond comp, air cond belt, replace steering rod to the box (making noise), replace amp for stereo, new tinting,.parking sensors, etc..

When I have recovered from the above is to get new lights..and refurbish the interior...

It is a journey bro....i am pretty sure u will be very, very impressed what the e38 can do once u have sorted the car...:)
My pocket bocor one too many times oredi when i embarked on the restoration route....but trust me it is worth it if we are true enthusiast...:)
