Unregistered E38 still available?

I have searched through the forum and could not find the one that I could refer. Anyway, please remove this thread if it is not appropriate here.I am currently looking for an unregistered E38, preferably the late E38 728i to migrate my pop's double digit reg number from his old E23 728i. The newer E65 doesn't look appealing to him and the electronic gadgets in newer 7 series is not to his taste either.I am from Penang. Just wonder where can i find one. I have called Lancia Auto and Jayamas. No luck so far.What is the current market for unregistered E38 btw? Would be helpful so that I know what to expect if found one.TIA!

there might be a few in town, you need to check with Naza, Meng Heng etc, they might have one.
Last two months, this guy bought a 750i full spec car for RM280k brand new, last year of 2001. wonderful V12 engine.. full spec with all the gizmos you can think.. even a cooler box in the center armrest !! plus DVD at the back seat !! all bmw options !!

let me check who did bring it in..give me time.

Bro, I saw an unreg 728i e38 in butterworth about a month to 2 months ago
Condition inside was good but the boot was not original. Closer inspection showed damage to the rear flank. Price asked was also ridiculous, they wanted rm160k

That's kinda steep for one not in its original condition...

Let me know if anyone know where to get one too. I am interested in E38 too. Drive the car once, really nice to drive.
