Nice steering wheel upgrade, but may I ask why didnt you go for the later type smaller centre ///M steering? Cost prohibitive?

Also thats an ///M steering, not M5. M5 would have tri-colour stiching. Still a nice upgrade though.

Ha, just kena con then :21:. No wonder the one I saw in ATSB w/o a/bag is already 1.5k++. This one all in 1.4k.

Anyway I'm already satisfied with this in my ride.

Still waiting for the day chance to own a real E39 M5! :1:

Your tranny is about to kong
There is gear slip when changing gear, the knock will be more obvious if you change gear in higher rpm range.
Had mine fixed recently after clocking 245,000km.

Bro kawei, did you rebuild/recon your tranny? 5sp auto? How much it cost you?

Mine is BMW X5 3.0i (E53) with GM A5S-390R

Rebuild will cost between RM 5,000 - RM 8,000 depending on scope of work.

Do go for a reputable one, else you'll regret.

1. Custom s/s header job done, de-cat'ed.
2. Used Hartge backbox fitted.
3. Dyno run done, 10 whp and 1 kg/m increase.

Enjoyed the KL - SG test-run.

Will post dyno results when I'm back in KL.

which includes:
- Custom s/s header
- Custom s/s rear piping
- Rear bumper trimming + installation of rear muffler
- custom bracket for rear muffler (as it couldn't directly fit, slightly long)
- 3 dyno jet runs
