..well..only BMW models i ever had , are Z models, and without exception, all of them were, kind a , short in range, I must say..i guess its because of the fuel tank (capacity)..i couldn't find other explanation as car is generally speaking, lighter from its brothers..

@ serenum
Very nice mileage with those diesels of yours..very nice..but im really interested to hear from 'gas guzzlers', how they driving when they achieving such ranges in vehicles, heavier than my Z.

Less pressure on the gas pedal when going downhill and further distance from the car in front (avoid exhaust gas)

E90 320d 1100 km - follow all speed limit before AES was even implemented :4:

After 2 weeks cannot tahan so back to daily rempit ways.
Now about 700 km per full tank only :embarassed:

I don't know if this is still possible right now, but for a relatively old fella, still can boast a little bit la:)

E36 M52B28 - Shell ron 95, full tank:
- city driving at various speeds - 450km - 550km
- non-stop highway cruising at average speeds between 180km/h - 220km/h - @800km*

*Dec 2010 - A rich fool at the local pub who declared himself a car-nut said it is impossible to do it with old beemers, so we had a tiny wager & I took him for a ride up north and back. I only told him I did 800kms on one tank at break neck speeds, but I never mentioned anything about flooring the pedal, rich car-nut fool made me RM1k richer:D

..numbers you guys exposing here are just outstanding..im officially impressed...no joke..

Mine on a full tank of ron 95, i can get about 650km on highways and 400km on urban drive..my car is running on 19' wheels..
