Any advise from fellow forumers on the 630i LCI convertible? I also noticed the LCI model is much more expensive than pre-LCI, despite only 1 manufacturing year apart (eg. 2007 pre-LCI & 2008 LCI).

I also noticed recons from UK using the N53 engine, which is supposed not able to run with our Euro 2 petrol. Local 630i LCI with N52 engine is so rare & so difficult to find one for sale. I wondered if using BHP so called Euro 3 petrol or Shell V-Power Racing will help? Or is it the N53 engine is a big no-no to buy?

I had been looking for this car for almost 3 years now. I don't feel like waiting anymore... otherwise I will have to wait further & go for the F12 instead when the price drops.

Appreciate all the gurus, owners & ex-owners advise...

bro stay away from N53. some would say it can run fine with our local fuel. But if that were the case, then why didn't bmw malaysia introduce it?

If I am not mistaken, Japanese spec 630i uses the n52 engine. However pls double check by getting the chassis number.

BTW the LCI model always has more value. people seem to like the electronic gear selector, although I am not a big fan :p. There are also other changes, new generation i-drive, rear lights, front lights, etc. if the price difference is very big, i would probably get the pre-lci model
