F10 528i Pre LCI & F10 528i LCI

Dear all, I'm not sure if any of you noticed this. I'm currently driving a Pre-LCI F10 528i, a friend had me tested his LCI 528i, I found that the engine is much quieter. Can't really hear it from the inside as opposed to the pre-LCI model. As for the exhaust note, the LCI has a more deep throaty roar at high RPMs as compared to the pre-LCI. ASS also kicks in immediately without delay and starts off less jerky. Does anyone know what has been done to the LCI for the quietness and exhaust note? Thanks.

I got my 528i LCI about 3 weeks ago. Everthing is fine except tyre noise and fuel consumption in city driving, approx 11litre/100km. Are these normal? I am using Ron 97, what about you guys? I hate the Start/Stop function which is irritating when in the jam.

Aisehman.... Dont make me regret my decision of getting preLCI ler........ Am still enjoying my ride besides from a few rattling sound here and there.

Just enjoy your ride. Penang AB is quite good. I have some squeeking noise and AB Penang manage to locate the sound at the rear aircon blower. Get it replace and also as a bonus, he stick some low friction tape at four doors to prevent any further noise. He know I will go nuts if hearing any sound in a BMW.
