Best deal COD.. I buy from Lelong.com.my also but I make sure I don't buy things that cost a value which I cannot afford to lose if the seller decided to make a run for it. Even if 99.99% good feedback, so what? Feedback can be faked.. :listen:

I won't put my money on a set of used rim until the rims are spun in a wheel alignment machine to make sure its not square.

Unless u have solid evidence against Kelvinjb, or else u can be sued for defamation. Even the "plaintiff" now is keeping silence.. :106:

I think there is no need to lose sleep over this. The Classified section is provided free for BMW enthusiasts to use, and some may take advantage of it. However, the club and forum are not liable for any dealings that go awry.

I would suggest this, for roque traders/sellers just post up a list on the Classified Section and pin it up for buyers to be beware of these dubious characters.

Mr Treasurer, my suggestions are to protect the interest of the OM's and Club Guest who use this forum. As much as I agree totally with the "caviet emptor" principle, certain deterrents should be in place to avoid issues like this happening again and again otherwise, we might as well disallow people from voicing out their grieviences also. ie. if the buyer beware principle should apply, then there is no reason for them to complain in this forum if deal turns out sour and no reason for other OM's and Club Guest to demand the issue be settled amicably which is something I am also asking. No one is asking to do CTOS...:stupid:

Of course the best deal is COD...or better yet, someone else pays for you and you don't pay that someone later...:wink:

Con jobs are everywhere. We have been in the committee and it's impossible to filter out any forthcoming conjobs. And when a conman comes by, we can only advise the victims to make a police report with all relevant information.
