Saman Ekor - Our Rights?

The highway to Kuantan is too straight and too empty to resist doing over 200kmh once in a while. I'm on it every so often. What safe drive attitute? Damn the BMW!!

bro shiva73 & haywire, save drive attitude does not mean driving slow or at speed limit :biggrin: ... its still better and safer to drive at your "fast" speed with high alert than driving slow and "fall asleep" while doing

where can we lodge a complaint to increase the speed limit at certain stretches OR perhaps HAVE A BIGGER SPEED LIMIT SIGNNAGE ....

The speed limit from SG besi toll heading to KAJANG exit is 90 km/h and that's upmost ridiculous and soon after Kajang heading to Bangi the speed limit is 80 Km/h ...aduhhhh never knew this till i got 5 saman's lately ....simply unbelieavable ....

and off late they had been hidding a lot in between beams underneath the bridges ....

..are ya sure about this..2 times i went there, all i remember is that my car was jumping like a crazy horse..i never saw highway with more bumps....

Especially, with our UDM .. when we are doing 80km/h.. it feels like the car is on tow.

Bro Dzul: Well said. The sleepy part will surely knock in especially when you are driving below your driveability range and when is the brain is not fully used.. then sure Zzzzz...

BTW , when i use to get all this samans back in 2000.. i was rempeting with proton iswara and i will make sure i hear the tyre scream on every corners..glad still kicking to share it now.

What is CDL ? does it mean '' car driving license '' ? or something to do with heavy duty licence ?

It supposed to be lesen C, D dan L.

it was Competent Driving License which is our normal driving license....
GDL - goods driving license - needed to drive lorry/van etc that carries goods
PSV - public service vehicle - needed to drive public transport such as taxi/bus/van

That highway is better than the stretch of PLUS between Taiping and Penang..that one is a sure bumpy ride.

My car roadtax is going to expire next month, checked with JPJ last week that I cannot renew it, my car is blacklisted according to Makcik works in JPJ. She ask me to go Balai Polis to settle "saman".

Which options shall I proceed ?

A. Just go to balai polis, settle ALL "samans".
B. Go to balai polis, checked which "saman" that cause blacklist, settle only those black "saman'.
C. Print out the article posted on the 1st page, show it to JPJ- branch officer & OCPD-Balai Polis.
D. Get advice from Lawyers (any Mr.Lawyer here?).
E. Open to your suggestions...

Damn I just checked....got one myself on 20th March...Time 13:54 , Location KM49.8 KESAS Highway...RM300. Anyone know how do I get the detail of this saman? How fast I was going etc. Never got any letter or notice or anything.

Damn my first saman since came back to Malaysia.

If other than saman ekor, yes you are blacklisted. If saman ekor, you cannot be blacklisted. I just renewed my wife's car road tax yesterday. No need to pay the saman ekor. Eventhough she got 35 saman ekor. Hehe...

Just called balai, I have total 8 saman, but she said I have 2 saman that cause me blacklisted, both in year 2008. I believe these 2 black saman are saman ekor coz I never sign any saman since last decade.
