My old original seats were starting to show their age...
I really gotta cut down on the spicy food. The gasses corrode the fabric.
With the passenger seat out, a bonus find! It's actually totally hidden with the seat on, so you'd never realise all this stuff was down there. The stereo's not 100% working so I'll have to look into that but apparently this is all pretty high end stuff. Way better than finding change in your pocket.
The new (used) Recaro leather seats that I got, with new sliders and mounting subframe installed by Recaro in sunway. Their services are pricey, but you get all new mounting hardware, and a neat and tidy professional looking job. It beats the usual exhaust shop hack & weld job.
Very good update bro. Can't wait to see the end results once your new Recaro seats have been installed. Btw, just curious, what was it that you found at the bottom of the old seats? I couldn't get what it was despite seeing the picture.

Got my car back on tuesday evening but too caught up with work to take any pix to post. Here's the transformed interior with the new seats in...
Actually they're not new lah.. they're rather worn but will be reupholstered at some point in the future.
I believe the model is Recaro LX
The seller said they came out of a Ford sedan, but unknown model
Actually i'm amazed at how changing seats can transform the feel of the car.
Now it FEELS like its faster and handles better.
By holding your arse firmly in place, you get the perception of less body roll, and more perception of speed.
