4. cabin filter
5. tensioner
6. pulley
7. left passenger wind mirror motor inspection

No idea how much it costed, because BMW also no idea what type of sound of this! You complaint, they change it for you.

Sent my 320d for 2nd service on Monday. New belt ordered. Some additional cost of about RM13 for grease and nuts? They said for the brake pads replacement process.

For the windsreen, mine cracked after a small stone chips it and later stretching longer. If to replace it in Quill, I have to pay first as they only do the windscreen claim for Allianze Insurance only. So after googling, decided to send the car to Dolwa in Ampang. They replaced the windsreen with zero cost to me (dont know how much they will be claiming from Insurance Co.) Guess I have to apply for new windsreen insurance. Will be back to Dolwa later to apply the tint...

lild,

MPS charged me RM125 + service tax. Obviously more than the normal cap ayam tyre shops but the end result is really good.
Im totally satisfied :)

Which SC? Who are the SA? Thanks in advance.

I complained 3 times for the front shock absorber knocking sound. The thing is the knocking sound doesn't come out every time. When it does come out, it is bad, knocking...not absorbing.

They couldn't find the source of sound. What they did for the past 3 times were to tighten up the related parts according to the specific force as per SOP, which minimised the sound but not eliminate it.

I suspected that the knocking knock out the wheel alignment, but the technician said the knocking has nothing to do with wheel alignment. Is this true?

yes, 13k with exhaust.

Geometry, let them have the car and test drive

jwah, I appreciate your posting. :top:

All 3 times they test drove it. They admitted sometimes they heard the knocking sound. But they hand over the car to me on the same day itself. They requested to let the car stay overnight so that they have 2 days to find the source of knocking sound. What do you think?

I think this is a known fault. If this knocking sound usually occur on the first drive of the day when hitting the first pothole (regardless big or small), and never returns till the next day's drive, then it's a common fault. some SC claims its the RFT. After a while, you learn to live with it

Can't live with it. This will reduce my confidence of the car. I think it's dangerous to live with it. Who knows when doing cornering, the road is not even (not to say pothole), the absorber knocks, steering turns and the car swung.
