Ya lor.. there's no closing date mentioned on their website. I'll try e-mailing them to find out.

The head honcho for this event is Brian Eravelly. He has done extensive racing in cars & karts, both locally and in the US. He raced a BMW in the US and has also done the MME here. Very able driver, and competitive in my-kart despite his weight handicap :p

There will be several instructors on hand during the way, most of them seasoned trackies. Just register as per the instructions first, I suppose you will be contacted when payment is due!

pls dun do it here.....do it at the HPC website and follow the instructions there......

u can make a sub list here but your own registration to Brian E counts.

ok?

E-Mail from Brian E.

There is no deadline for registration, but we will be limiting each group to just 40 cars in the interest of safety and to ensure that all participants will have as much time with an open track as possible. The entry list will be updated on our website at http://www.hpcevents.com. The main focus of the event is to have the participants be able to learn the skills and etiquette of on track driving and not wheel to wheel racing. We want you to be able to enjoy your cars in a safe and controlled environment and develop your skills to eventually go racing if you wish.

Be sure to check the driver resources page at http://www.hpcevents.com/resources.htm often as it is being updated with the rules of the event, tech inspection forms, driving techniques and other information that will help make the event as much fun and safe as possible.

Payment will be collected on the day itself on track.

I've registered. Have you? :yahoo:

For those that have always fancy driving on Sepang, this is the day to do it. Not only will you get an instructor to sit beside you, the track will also be marked with cones at various points to aid you in learning the braking points and apex. Furthermore, for RM170 which include lunch, it's only slightly more expensive than the normal open track day fee of RM150!

As the event is also the launch of the "Racing for Children" charity project, there may be some celebs there too. Zoggee, maybe you will meet Deanna Yusoff again there?
