Help! Engine shaking and then die !

To all sifu, plssss need help !! my e46 engine started shaking this morning (well, actually dah 1 week dah )so planned to go send to segambut...but when i wanted to start car, it will jerk n then slowly die. i'm sure not battery or starter cos car will start fine plus indicator all is okbut this morning the car feel underpowered so maybe its the sparkplugs or the coils ? or could it be the idling valve ?

pls intro yourself in newbies section. looking at your condition, there are many possibilty, my guess is your vacum hose leaking (item 3). pls consult your mechanic to double confirm. if its idling valve fault, your engine will usually die off straight from the minute u crank your engine, it usually wont jerk and then die off. if your car is jerking heavily, most likely your engine is only firing on 3 cyclinder instead of 4. this might be cause by ignition coil, ignition cable or one untighten spark plug. any guru can give some opinion on my assumption?

may i add that it could be the air mass sensor also at fault or the fuel pump..

Sorry, was so busy I forgot to post....

Anyway, managed to drive de car to bmauto, got it checked and the problem was quite simple, really...just a faulty plug-cable. Got it replaced and the car is flying again. :rock:

New plug-cable = RM300 (is this okay ?)

alang-alang dah kat situ, got it serviced skali...
replaced a burnt bulb also n all together cost was RM700.

shite, in the middle of the month pulak tuh...
