Changing to aftermarket absorbers will only firm up the ride, and will not reduce body roll. Replacing the springs (usually lowering it with eibach or H&R), will lower the car and the center of gravity which gives you a feeling of lesser body roll but neither these two mods will help as much as replacing the ori ARB.
Thicker/Stronger ARB will restrict the up/down movement of your wheels and also the camber change while cornering. All our cars come with negative camber, as you corner the negative camber will decrease. If the ARB is soft the camber change will happen easily (at a lower speed) and before it reaches 0 camber the tires would be screeching. That's why most stock cars are set to have a softer ARB setting at the front to have an "under steering" tendency as it is easier to bring the vehicle back into control, compared to over steer. With the ARB installed, you can feel the car can corner a lot flatter without losing much grip. It will take a lot more speed before the tire start to screech
I have had H&R on mine for 3.5 years and they work beautifully except the bushes which disintegrated within 1 year. Best is the original BMW Bushes, just some minor drilling will do. H&R ARB is not made from Aluminium but high tensile strength steel pelted with metal bearings. Its quite heavy compared to the original BMW ARB.
Go for it and your car will never drive the same again
Cheers

Anyway, given my current situation (stock Boge shocks Front - 2 years old, original BMW shocks Rear - 8-9 years old but no leaking), which would be the best option in solving the heavy roll/tilting issue during cornering AND still be able retain current ride comfort?
Option 1: NEW Boge Automatic/Bilstein B4 shocks (about RM1.1k all-in, using old springs) + H&R ARB (about RM2k)
Option 2: NEW Titan shocks (about RM2.9k all-in, using old springs)
Am leaning towards option 1 but would the car be feels odd/too stiff with the thick ARBs and yet soft shocks?

I know how to make the car go faster, press the accelerator a little moreramsing;792217 said:Is it true that putting arb on d car can give more power ar? My friend friend say he put the tai sai arb and now d car can very fast zoom to 200.
