Actually I am more concern about the Selangor Pahang water transfer project. Initial cost estimated to be 2 billion and now has escalated to 8 billion as reported in the newspaper.

Aiyooo Unker...u so mean! Now u telling us the gomen with unphenomenal foresight built this dam based on the data from ; either

1) the Sumerian calendar, or
2) the Mayan Long Count calendar, or
3) the New Age interpretation, or
4) becoz of the impending collision with a passing planet Nibiru, or
5) becoz Dr. Satnam Tsurutani in India found out about the solar flares in 2012, the movie...

1. If you have not read it then how would you know it's just mere allegations?

2. Firstly when information is readily available in the public domain, it's deemed public knowledge. It really doesn't matter if 20k or 2 million books were sold. Secondly, what is so sensitive about UMNO's setup of the war chest and the subsequent secret funds? Are you or your family members one of the proxy holders?;) If you read the book you will know whom actually revealed UMNO's inner workings to Barry Wain. ;)

Cheers

1) Just because i don't read his book doesn't mean i don't know him and his work :stupid:

2) Those are lies and unproven allegations made towards UMNO. So i guess 0.085% of the population makes it a public knowledge is it? :stupid:
Why mention UMNO in your post? Do you have anything against UMNO since UMNO represent the majority of Malay's??? Why highlight it in your post when you could just mention about TDM ?

Oh Ya, let's make that RM100M to dismantle and RM600 to double the size of the dam. Only problem is , can we complete in time before the flood.

bro, anything is possible. BTW, do you have 6 billion dollars? (Its Euro not US).:listen:

Tsk .. Tsk.. so many millions and billions just down the drain! ( or into some body's pocketor Swiss banks) And the PM's very own dept can waste even more of the Rakyat $$$ on excess while he tells the Raykat that all subsidiary's needed to be stopped to save money for the govt!

And so many wasted projects... White Elephants! All in my own opinion to help their buddies to get some contracts and collect the dough. Nuthing else! Its all to make some mega bucks!

1. Well judging from the way you postulated your thoughts on this matter, you are way off the mark. Seriously!!

2. Again, part of the book's focus was how TDM handled UMNO's affair during that period of time and of course it was not pretty to say the least. On a separate note I do not have any idea how one can insinuate and make this a racial issue. In any case any umno member would actually be pleased with these revelations, more so when $$ involved. Wouldn't you want to know about the missing funds? And how can this be construed as an attack against umno?!!!

3. As for the definition of what constitutes as public knowledge, once that information is available on the public domain it is public knowledge! Likewise, what you posted here is deemed to be public irrespective if there are 10 views or 2000 views which in anyway is below 0.001% of the population. Got the drift yet?;)

It's amazing how most pro-gov people can just about turn anything and everything into a racial issue.

I think the gov is trying to save money from subsidies cause they want Malaysia to have a world class MRT system. RM43 billion, come on, how can it not be world class? In 2 or 3 years time that will probably triple in cost to RM132 billion.

Let's see....
RM1000 screw driver. Check.
RM50000 laptop. Check.
RM4500 wrench. Check.

PROFIT!

Awesome!

Anyway jokes aside. I don't really see how debating about the short-comings of the current ruling party is construed as racial bashing.

Put it this way, I Cina ah pek, me no support MCA! Now, how racial can that be... :p :D

Better still, BN vs PAS, I tanda on the logo Bulan.. racial?

Wats bundy got to do with the war chest, secret funds, Barry Wain, TDM ??? Pray tell...

Personally I don't see how anyone can support the ruling party in the condition it is in, unless...

The possibilities being...

1) You are a man of unshakeable faith
2) You're a BN - UMNO/MCA/MIC member
3) You're the PR man for BN
4) You have beneficial monetary interest as a result of their policies
5) You have been visited by the errr... First Lady
6) You work in a carpet shop...

Anyways, like i said, I luv a good political thriller and intrigue...pls carry on...I'm hanging on by my nails....

Lets forget about the money. Captain America is coming out in 2011, 1 year earlier ... and definitely he will save the day. I think he can easily submerge the country to make sure the dam is filled. Damn ...

LOL ... UMNO policies and the values, it stands for and represent, is the mandate by the members of UMNO. If you have something against UMNO then you're against the people that UMNO represent. If you have something against TDM then say something about TDM but not UMNO.
The fact that you're mentioning UMNO's war chest and UMNO's secret funds and etc shows very much about your lack of judgement in understanding the sensitivity of the issue and of course it will only invite speculation whether you have a hidden agenda when mentioning UMNO.

P/s: Thanks for the offer but i don't read tabloid materials about our country especially from a gwailo :listen:

But you like to sit an a gwailo car, right?

Bro, Sitting and reading are too different thing. Please dont fault a person just because he have different political belief.

Can I ask you a question? Do you like George Bush Jr? If you dont, does that means you hate all the Yanks? :stupid:

Perhaps we should ask all our politicians to do something new - when they go to the ground or when it's near election time. Announce no projects or allocations for this and that community. Let's see whether its a winning strategy.

At last count, RM127.5 million has been added to the Government's Fixed Deposit, for the Orang Ulu in Ulu Baram.

As a result, more Special Draws to come.

Moral of the story - No money how to win the hearts, minds and pockets of the people? Hence the need for every political party to have special funds.

Salut

Lots of projects have escalated cost in this term....erm...remove subsidy, citizens suffer, ruling ppl prosper.
Eat, grab, pocket what you can now.

Just got the Barry Wain book! I can foresee a sleepless night tonight as I'll be turbo-ing through the book!
