Can anyone confirm this? or was it the body hugging sport seat with waist pump gave me a false sense of Sport variant has lesser body roll compare to the luxury line.. ?! :hmmmm2:

The F30 platform definitely felt nimble and responsive though, way better than my old F10 535i. I was somewhat disappointed with the specs on the CBU, with no sports suspension (have to look for aftermarket again?!), no HUD, cheap speakers, no reverse camera, no adaptive headlights, no adaptive dampers, etc etc. I don't think I'm going to get the 328i.

And I guess it's simpler execution in developing countries since it's just how the car manufacturers instill grandeur lifestyle into buying a car. I was driving a BMW since being a student overseas, a used one that is, and it's dirt cheap.

I studied in a country swarming with Peugeot and Citroens, dirt cheap too. Gasoline at 4.5FF/L that time. But I was more fortunate, commanding 2 different ZEVs over 4.5 years -> bicycles x 2. I wasn't wise enough to purchase vehicle insurance, dang and my first ZEV got stolen.
Malaysia is a small country with small market and minute purchasing power. I don't expect BMW Malaysia to bring in all available options and models AND make money here. Who don't want to make money?
What you see is what you get here and I guess this is what our beloved country can offer us. Many of us compare good things in other countries with bad things in our countries but never compare what's good here against what's bad out there.
Goto line 1

And yes, the reply i posted didn't benefit the title of the 328i test drive, but the underlying message is to share what we are missing out. Nobody's complaining about your beloved country, I merely shared my thoughts on how corporations are taking advantage of Malaysians. Please read before spitting.

xero200;727481 said:i think the underlying message that's to be shared is - we're not given options to what we would like to purchase, despite the hefty price tag on the cars. Of course corporations exist to make money, but at least give the consumer a choice. I would turn to the grey importers to buy a car because of the options presented, and to be frank, when they start bringing in the F30 335s at a lower price in a year's time, I'm sure you'd see happy faces on every BMW enthusiast who can finally own the N55 with probably a price tag short of RM100K less than how much it's sold by the ADs.
