it looks like a good time to invest in a E92 Coupe....most dont have the i drive...these are imports with japan specs and british specs.....prices renge from rm230k to rm270k for 2006 to 2007 models.my question is that is it the right time to buy these beauties in view of the big drop in prices..?:love:regards

These are the 3 features I find the most useful in my E90:
1. iDrive
2. Satnav
3. Tilting left wing mirror when reversing

The E92 is a beautiful car outside and inside and will be very enjoyable to own. It IS the right time to find one, but try to find one with iDrive and Satnav or you may miss them.

Agreed. The only thing I miss is the iDrive system. Too bad my E92 doesn't have them cguru:

I saw one at Iktikadraya Kg Baru. It comes with iDrive. Year 2007 if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps you can take a look.

1. haha guys. mine is 320i coupe without satnav and the bulging i-drive at centre of dashboard. side mirrors no auto fold.
2. the 325i coupe is definitely the one to get. seen ads selling for 270k++ prob 2007 make. it comes with 18"s 183 style spoke.
3. but the 335i coupe is pornography to me. the 19"s really look their part. but at nearly half a million....ooohhh....saw one at QA; white with red leather; new ready for delivery.

It's not just for looks. Satnav and iDrive are really useful features. Now I find it hard to own a car that doesn't have them. :listen:

For the 2007 & 2008 models with idrive, you must note that its the 1st gen idrive. Even if its really nice to have an iDrive, but if its 1st gen iDrive, then my opinion is you can drop it. The current iDrive2 launched in 2009 which comes in all the LCI facelift E9x models has improved tremendously. In the new iDrive2, the menu buttons hv all been revised, with quick keys to dial in radio, Nav, CD and etc. The dial is also touch-friendly & easy to navigate, move left or right or to press enter. Best of all the screen resolution has been improved 4 times over the old screen reso!

Enjoy yr E92 even if it doesn't come with iDrive bcos ur driving the best looking coupe in town!

If you don't hv idrive, then use Garmin. Personally i think Garmin is a great sat nav after having used it in my wife's Golf GTi (GTi Mark V does not come with any sat nav).

basket...its time u change to a 335i la. Can still fetch yr family of 4 mah...unless yr children is 6 feet tall! Backseat seating area for 335i is sufficient. Guarantee omes with vanity mirror & rear lights.

Bro, its 325i. There's no way 335i will cost 270k, regardless what year. Unless it has really poor condition.
