no point asking till you have driven all 3...if you can afford all 3, your answer would be given to you the moment u test the 335

Easy...which one is within ur budget? If all 3, the go for the most powerful one, of course.

go for the 320i, cheaper maintenance, roadtax, more reliable engine, no turbo issues and its newer (2008) :top:

heheheheh...

hey edison im new here too, newer in fact.. much.

just a point for u to ponder,(if u havent place order oleady) a 2012 pre reg e90 320i m-sport with mileage less than 100 asking for rm205k..

thanks for the reply guys..after asking i just realize that the 335i is a second hand car displayed with number plate taken off.
so right now im just looking at the 325i(3.0) and the 320i..tested the 325i already..the 320i is not at the showroom yet.
will decide after testing the 320i.

thanks for the reply bro.
but will the 320i be heavy for the engine ? as im driving a 2.0 camry now and its like struggling when i step on the pedal. its a comfortable ride though.

The 335i can be tuned up to almost 400hp at an insignificant cost.

Viewed in terms of RM/hp, its a bargain. And the joy you will get from a SIC track day.. priceless :top:

If u r looking for 2008 e92 320i auto Bavaria cbu pls pm me hehehe. Cheaper than 175k

if you feel so, then 325i should give u sufficient power and good fc..less maintenance cost and should be less/manageable problems too..go for the middle range and you'll be safe :4:

Hello.. What is the different between 325I 2500cc and 3000cc? Is that the engine same? Just different within cc and hp only?

its a detuned version of 330i engine. hp and torque most likely the same as the 2.5l engine.

fuel consumption and engine maintenance = the newer 3 litre engine is better.

roadtax? add another RM1,150++

e92 in the right color n right trim looks very menacingly cool.. i understand y ud go for it.. plus the rear shape is so much better propotioned compare to e90..

2 doors only??.. small price to pay..

i will get a E93 unreg 2007 or 2008 soon.. i will take the 3.0cc N/A.. anyway.. N/A car is more easy to maintain and less problem.. the 335i twin turbo maintain fees is higher of course.. somemore will drain engine oil and u will need to always checkup the engine oil level & topping up the engine oil.. It's drain more petrol of course for twin turbo 335i..

If i bought the 335i twin turbo, of course i will all the way use RON97 current (RM2.90/L)

If i bought 3.0 N/A i can choose ron95 (RM1.90/L) or ron97

but, of course the roadtax for 335i and 325i (3.0) is the same.. lolx..

i love the convertible hardtop of E93.. when i want to fetch my baby, i can just open the hardtop and just put the baby in.. no need to pull forward my front seat like E92.. E93 is cool..

bro if you like the e93 325, please go ahead and buy it, its a great car but dont make up non existent problems for the 335 to justify your choice

simple concrete facts (my two good buddies have 335i as well, piscargot is on the forum sometimes)

in 2 years:

Not one of the 3 cars have ever needed to top up oil, always at max level untill service
Both me and Pis use ron95 every fill up, no issues in 30k km for me. Pis car is on procede, and no issues with 95 as well
In 3 services at Obermaier, the servicing costs is exactly the same as a 3.0NA, filters, oils , labour etc
I have only replaced 1 ignition coil since i got the car, and its already reach 90k km

Freddy from Obermaier says i got lucky as my car is in good condition, but pis has only replaces ignition coils and fuel pump since he got his, no turbo related parts.

So im just saying that 3.0NA and the Turbo have very similar running costs and if you are unlucky, even a 320i would cost more to maintain then a good condition 335i

the main difference between a 325 and 335 is probably the wastegate rattling that occurs on some turbo cars, but it can be rectified at most good BMW workshops...

^^Great info Ryou. Loads of misinformation on the 335i like it's going ot explode anytime just because it has a turbo!
