Wanted to add my 2 sens worth.. spent quite a few months looking for my e92 M-Sport and must say that the majority of dealers don't have a clue the difference between the e92 and e93. Also quite a few trying to pass off non-M-Sport models with body kit as M-Sport...

Some other ways to tell an M-Sport apart from the external body kit and M-sport steering wheel - Anthracite headliner (though it is listed as an option, I believe all M-Sports from the UK anyway come with that) and the M-sport suspension. LOGIC 7 is almost impossible to get, was looking for about 4 months last year and gave up and recently discovered available upgrades for the Hi-Fi and therefore settled for my 335 with the Loudspeaker Hi-Fi upgrade. Sound is terrible and LOGIC 7 thought significantly better is not Great. The 335s without the Loudspeaker Hi-Fi upgrade are much more difficult to upgrade from my understanding.

Looking for a few free days so that I can take some time off and go down to Singapore to get my Hi-Fi done...

I would also say, don't bother buying a 335 without i-Drive... you will have a really hard time selling it on... I can't imagine putting in high 200s - 300s and not have navigation (whether you use it or not).

Mine is a logic 7 plus comes with the USB and AUX input for your phone/ipods/etc. About the M-Sport suspension, there isn't really any for the E92, as what i have gathered from bimmerpost, non-Msport and Msport has the same suspension part number. =)

Hsianers, when are you planning to go to singapore? i am planing to ship my wheels and KW there. do you have a blackberry ? can join our e92 group BB Chat.

M5port - will be going down to get my new rims in 2 weeks...

Don't BBM as I am normally tied up at work and don't have the time to chat....

I have seen only 1 other 335 with LOGIC 7 but its was an '09 with DCT and didn't feel the difference in price was worth it... sorry to say for an extra RM10K, would have just gone for a C2S.

My Hi-Fi upgrades gonna cost me around RM13K but I have been told will be better than the stock LOGIC 7.. anyways, the cars pretty high spec anyway, so other than a Vorstiener rear spoiler and a few minor upgrades to the interior, won't be doing much else for at least 6 months or so.. then will come the piggyback and downpipes... just wanted to enjoy the car stock for now.

Hsianers i should be back from China then, my stuffs should be there by then too, want to drive down together?

M5port... just saw your post...picked up my Race GTS 20s already... had some issues with ride height and ended up having to change suspension as well... didn't have any choice so was stuck with the KW V2 which I find the springs are a little soft :( Still some rubbing for the rears when driving slightly more aggresively.. Need to work out how to get that sorted.. Will look ar re-rolling the lips again.

bro, im also on V2's with no rubbing issues and im at max drop, get your installer to up the damping rate

Very good information... luckily I checked here first as I'm looking for a 335i Convertible... I was wondering about the M Sport option and was told by the dealer that it's "just a body kit".

With regards to the N54 and N55 engine... which model year did the N55 engine come out ?? I figured that I would try to avoid the HPFP problem if I can (or rather within budget).... Most of the convertible I found are 2007, I presume they're N54 ?

Also, any 335i Convertible owners out there ? Just wanted to find out if the roof creaks or not ?? After being a owner of 2 convertibles and both creaks over un-even roads.... would like to get something with a more solid roof or rather a more solid chassis..

shlim8 - Just so you know, the convertible is significantly heavier and therefore performance is blunted on the 335. You might want to test both the coupe and convertible so you feel the difference.

Great write-up guys! Now itchy back looking for a E93. I know there's 320(NA), 325(NA) and 335(twin turbo), but is there a 330(NA) too? Thanks. Doing my baby steps towards E93 ownership. Thank you very much.

P.S> Can the prefacelift rear lights be upgraded to LED rear lights? Plug and play?

The recon dealers mostly have 335i E93s, 320 e93 rarer. But be aware that a E93 is 200kg heavier then a E92, the difference in pick up and performance can be felt

LCI lights is not P&P..but its still easily done at most specialist BMW workshops

Great to know its not a difficult conversion. I like 335i's power but I would prefer a NA whenever possible. I can bet my behind that the F30's gonna be turbo powered. Hard to avoid in today's scenario.

its already confirmed that F30 328 onwards will have the new 2.0 twin turbo. I know what u mean when u say u prefer NA, but personally a 325 e93 will be slow like snail :) All the Polo's and Gtis will eat for breakfast and dinner

what's a reasonable price for '07 335i nowadays? seems like those selling in mudah.com still retains the price from last year..

Yeah mate. The best option for me now is probably 330 but its quite rare actually. Lots of 335 (might go that route if cant find a good 330 or 325). Speed is not my main concern cause I am afterall, a slow driver. Drive convertible must slow slow. Poser mah. Heh

lol..yup exactly how a convertible should be driven...just fyi...cos some ppl expect all BMWs to be UDM and bla bla and damn fast..buy..then dissapointed and will rant on forums "why my BMW so slow" :)

Yea 335 prices havnt dropped much in last 8 months or so. 2006 models have dropped but not 07+
