Yup buy recond n opal covers u. Better solution. N yes, absorbers probably need changing, approx rm4.5k.

Also a convertible is more than 200gs heavier than a coupe. N d chick magnet thing with convertibles is a fallacy.

Mine about 1k per month average for first year on preventive and maintenance. And mine is just an N52 engine.

bros..

can introduce any pro/experienced workshop around subang/sunway/puchong area?
or i have to get back to the panel workshop if my warranty is under Autoguard?

have heard lotsa horrible stories with Opal and Autoguard.. but no choice la.. bcos dealer gave 1yr warranty to me FOC.. takkan tak ambik..

If u're under one of those third party insurance, better go back to their panel workshop, but choose wisely. A member just had his radiator change and covered by Opal, I don't see any issues with them. What stories have u heard bro?

lucky pick there..if you're under Opal, K&S is one of the best workshops for our 335..a few of our members send there for service, claims, etc.

wow didn't know Opal covers radiator as well? mine didn't have it :( a couple of my friends had their 335i radiators leaking but had to bear the replacement costs themselves (rm1850 radiator only ex. labour, etc) as it was not covered in their Opal's policy too

Opal vs Autoguard. Now which would be a better then in terms of pricing and claims approval? Both seems to share the same number of workshops throughout Malaysia.

No wonder K&S Auto is always packed and Ah Soon always so busy. Coz they're panel for both!

2k for normal routine maintenance seems like kinda high.... You do monthly servicing as preventive maintenance? Your car is not that old for parts to keep failing...

"Maintenance" sometimes with mods included. When you got racun sometimes you're confused. It's a grey area :D

Wa didn't know 335i can be such a pain to maintain lol....
Guess I will be sticking to my 320d for quite some time hehe

Aku ade bmw lori ko ade?

wow if rm2k per month is quite expensive for maintaining a 335i, not to mention the road tax n insurance some more...altogether almost rm30k per year...why la I still buy 335i..should've bought M3 instead for that amount of effort for maintenance :listen:
