E92 335i 2007,2008 or 2009 smg gearbox ?

Guys , im a newbie here . And im very excited and about to purchase a E92 335i soon after CNY , but im abit confused thought, there is alot of 2007 335i units for sale in town price about 300k+/- but i saw one 2009 white SMG twin clutch gearbox unreg for sale RM385k , Is it worth to add up extra 80-100k for a 2009 with SMG gearbox ? Or just go with 2007 model at about 290k ? Any big difference between 2007 / 2009 model ? Im abit confused. Looking for Blue/white with Orange/Red interior. Unreg.

Test an SMG car before buying. They're quite different to drive compared to a conventional auto. An acquired taste for some.

Spot on, SMG is not the same as dual clutch btw.

I thought the 335i is/was never offered with the SMG?? I know they come with either the 6speed Steptronic,the manual 6sp or the DCT..

Yup,I think so too... whatever the gearbox,u won't go wrong cuz the engine is such a torque monster that it doesn't really matter what gearbox u have.Its gonna be a very quick car regardless.
