E90 325 engine stalled at slow speed

Hi guys,I would like to seek help from anyone who might have experience similar scenarios. Recently I have been having this problem where the engine will die off by itself during slow speed, while turning or going through speed bumps. Just before it stalls, the engine will normally behave funny like does not want to respond to the accelerator and vibrates. This normally happens when engine is cold, either morning or after I left the car for many hours. I do not dare to drive the car now as it is too dangerous because I experienced it stalling while taking a turn and suddenly brakes and steering doesn't work anymore with cars coming right behind me. if anyone has any idea what could possibly cause the problem, please please help... thank you very much.

Hi Pearl,

I had this experience last 3 weeks at a traffic light stop near my office. Luckily the red light waiting duration is long enough to get me to restart the car. Really scare if it happens during driving come out of a junction...:42:
Suspect it could be the camshaft sensor but didn't have the opportunities to confirm with the mechanic yet.But all those could be related to my GB issues that I just resolved last week.

so u just manage to resolve the problem which is related to your gearbox? what did you change?

I had my valve body serviced by one auto gearbox specialist in Batu Caves known as M Scope. They had to changed all the 7 solenoids in the valvebody aka mechatronic parts and the gearbox is untouched. Then it solved my jerky gearshift and now drives better and smoother.After that I never had the same experience of stalled engine anymore.

thanks bro... how much does it cost u to change the all the solenoids? can you give me the contact of M scope. Maybe i'll have them take a look. Thanks very much...

Cost to change all 7 solenoids + servicing the valve body (mechatronic) is 4.5K. Just pm u Mscope contact. U may speak to Choy the senior mechanic there.
