why i choose E36 because it shape good squarish and masculinity of the straight line is the art of man.

functionalism, short overhang, while maintaining the old school style and the true architecture of confidence. that is E36.

so how i appreciate the car is different from building or far beyond the rempit guy.

in E36. man, art and function combine. result a Functionalism-Architecture.
if one value the cars just only UDM or because 'ahh it look nice' so there is something missing...

my car up for sale. PM for more details. It has been completely rebuilt. EVERYTHING inside out.

Reason for selling upgrading to E60. No holds barred spending on the refurbishment, total all in all about rm80k to bring it back to tip top. All mods were done before this refurbishment. The paint job is new just last month, full set Standox High Solid, rm8k paint job. Orange peel has been removed hence mirror finish paint, coated with Zaino Show Car Polish. Rims are Breyton 17 with AD07 tires. full mtec accesories everywhere inside out, bodykit are original, not copies. new ori windscreen from germany. bonnet, fender, front grill panel, boot lids are carbon fibre all custom made. 5 speed gearbox, completely rebuilt for 9k including torque convertor. brand new rear lsd differential and new long shaft (new, not recond or chop). suspension is riding on bilstien pss9. engine completely blueprinted. price wise, make me an offer but no silly offers please. too much mods to be listed. engine makes a healthy 300+hp, dynoed. plenty of high powered torque. by the way, its a 96 m52 overbored and blueprinted.

need to wait 1-2years after the price going lower and lower (1960s strategy)....


is it will effect the engine,
and what will go wrong if put free flow exhaust to it.
(just want to know - i'm not going to do this at the moment.)

Simple answer, you will gain more upper power at the expense of low end torque.

Ever notice how race cars rumble and sputter when driving slowly? They are tuned to gain max performance at high rpm and to obtain max top speed.

You can see this some of this effect even by changing from the stock air filter to open pod.

The standard exhaust setup is tuned to optimise the 'scavenging effect' of the resonance at the pipe's frequency. When you change the exhaust, this optimisation is affected. You'll gain something, but at the expense of something else...

That's what I can remember off the top of my head. Please correct me if i made any errors. thanks.

just test drive another 328 this afternoon....
it really2 suck.....
the spring/ suspension tooo soft,
at hi-speed corner like a Farkin' flying carpet.....damn scary
the torque : very sad to say....
why so many 328 out there loosing the torque?

Because of lack of maintenance.

when
compare to my target car and the Legendary Master Sifu Mr.LEE36328 car they have a lot of ton torque.

at the moment I put Legendary Master Sifu Mr.LEE36328 UDM as a Benchmark,
almost everyday make a test drive...... tired.....but fun.

That's a nice compliment for my humble ride. Undeserved, I'm sure, but thank you.

The cars are about 10 years old now for most 328s out there. If they have not been maintained, they are no longer close to optimum. Lots of things will affect the torque you feel, from air intake (no leak, no unsuitable air intake/filter), combustion chamber (clean, not caked with carbon), o2 sensors (fully functional, to give optimum air/fuel mix), type of fuel, injectors (clean), exhaust manifold (no leak), cat converter (working), exhaust flap (should open at higher rpm), VANOS (should engage at about 2-3k rpm), etc etc....

So, in short, many many things must be maintained at optimum to produce optimum torque.... after 10 years, many things are due to be replaced already. Some people would rather sell their cars to car dealers than maintain the car (expensive) properly...

Your enthusiasm reminds me of myself when I was searching for my car...
