Deciding between E36 325/328

Hello bmw gurus!I'm quite new to Bimmers but have been trolling this forum for sometime. Learned alot about this lovely car and have finally decided to buy a 2nd hand bmw as my daily transport instead of a brand new plotong. Budget is around 60-75k for a decent 1994> bimmer and i would guess im able to get a 325 or a 328 for that kind of price. Just wondering which one would you guys prefer in terms of reliability, maintainence, etc.. The roadtax for the 328 is definitely much higher but that is not a concern since its a yearly matter hehe. I've been told that the 325 auto has problems with the gearbox, how about the 328? Need some feedbacks so i can start searching around used car dealers for some sweet rides.

if u can afford either, get the 328i. no brainer. more torque is always a good thing.

bro go test drive 1st. then u decide for urself.. I m not sure about FC is it 328 is more thirsty then 325 ?? really no idea but the torque is shocking for 328.. i regret get a 325 ...no leather seat no digital air con, no arm rest. But 1 thing 325 is much higher value compare to 328.. Mainly bcos of CC (road tax)

like Redd said,get the 328i..no brainer! u get gobs of torque,don't need to rev the engine too much hence with the correct technique u shud save on FC compared to 325i.
and the 328i is a newer car with more equipments including digital AC,leather etc. and bro,the 28 is a hotrod!! nice,cultured but brutal once u floor it!! SWEETTTTT!!!!!!

digital AC, arm rest is standard equipment on which model ah?? how come some E36 318i has those????
