Cressidom E34 - 1JZ Conversion - Pics

More pics on the conversion, engine had to get a front 'bulge' sump.
For all E34 owners who want this conversion, front sump is way to go. The rear sump
rest on the steering centre road and cross member.

Tks/Dom

Also while you have the engine 'out' it's best to change / service it. ;)
New clutch Kit.
New Belts
New Timing Belts
New Valve cover Seals
New Cam Seals.
New Flywheel Oil Seal
From the pics it's evident that the engine is due for these changes in parts.
Oil leaks are due to worn seals. SO change it before it goes in.

Cressidom E34 - 1JZ Conversion - Pics

Oil from the leaking cam seals had flowed down onto the G/box..and the bearing and clutch set had some oil residue on it. It look like the clutch was slipping too.

The flywheel housing on the engine side..has oily residue
Once the parts get fitted, engine G/box mated then 'turun' into bay for adjusment / measurements for mounting etc.
Will hope to have those pics on Wed / Thu.

Cheers

Thanks JO...am sure I'll have to 'learn to drive again'. It will be a learning curve for me since I'll have more of a response than hesitation.
