Convoy To Grand TT - Northern States/Penang/Ipoh

Perhaps can meet up around Ipoh (as Ipoh is on the way) and then continue to convoy to the Grand TT on 14/06/2008. Time to be determined in due course..

Suggested Itinerary

8:30 - 9:00am : Meet at Oldtown Kopitiam, Medan Ipoh
9:10am : Depart for PJ
12noon : Arrive PJ & proceed for lunch
2.00 - 3.30pm : Free & easy
3.30 - 3:40pm : Meet at _______ to convoy to Grand TT (Mini Bimmerfest)

Suggested place to meet:
1. OLDTOWN White Coffee kopitiam at Medan Ipoh (near Tesco/Jusco) - so that we can have a quick drink/eat/smoke/talk while waiting for all to arrive punctually, instead of sitting in the car & burning away fuel. Quite ample parking spaces available too. And near the Ipoh Toll exit too.
2. McDonald Drive-In, Medan Ipoh

Any suggestions for yummy lunch venue in PJ with ample parking spaces for our cars? How about Japanese Buffet (Shogun) @ 1Utama ? Or Korean Buffet & BBQ (Shilla) @ The Curve? Both priced about RM50-60 per pax i think.

Ok guys,
I went around looking for accommodation again today and this is what I found. A no star rated hotel but comfortable in Subang Jaya (opposite Subang Medical Centre) which is about 4km from our venue.

Here's the deal, Ive reserved 4 rooms for the committee and volunteers just to keep some stuff, shower and change for our event. We wont need them for the night so, if you guys are interested we'll just share the cost, half half. Actually, we would only need to use the rooms for 2 to 3 hours only, then they are all yours till check out time the next day.

Hotel: Subang Valley Hotel
Rate: Deluxe RM90 net per room (your cost RM45)
Twin bedded, Aircon, TV, private bathroom.
Restaurant on the ground floor.

Let me know latest by Tuesday, and since there's only 4 rooms, its on a first come first serve basis.
ps...if more rooms are needed I will source again.
