Thank you,

Thanks. btw what exactly I'm looking at? Does the website tells all the spare parts that has been used? or does it tell the parts are in good working condition? like your report, what does it tells actually? I'm still a noob :p

VIN details show all the original factory package / accessories fitted. So, you can check all this package with the car you want to buy. Sometimes dealer mislead buyer.. So, you can double check with VIN details.

So i found 523i LCI year 2007. Want some opinion from sifus here, about this car, and if compare to 525i year 2006, which would make a good buy? Price and mileage is quite the same

LCI will definitely be a better choice and if you compare engine output, LCI 523i is around the same with a pre-LCI 525i.

but i heard N53 engine is no good? as in, the previous version is giving less problem

It's not that N53 isn't good but it is not optimized to accept dirty fuel like what we have in Malaysia. The proper fuel needed for N53 is EURO 4 and above while we are on EURO 2M. Please note that EURO standards for fuel means the contents of the fuel (i.e. sulphur) and has nothing to do with RON levels.

Ok, I just booked mine (after almost 6 months of searching) :)

got myself a normal 523 year 2007, and I'm thinking of doing some bodywork on it. Can any of you recommend any good shops around Klang Valley that provide reasonable price for doing body kit, besides Eurotuner? Thanks.

525I or 530d

I have been searching for E60 525 and tested seven units but seems all are underpowered compare to my wife's camry which only 2.0. Can we do something to improve the 525 performance ? I asked my friend (Owned 525 Year 2009) *and he say nothing can be done and his accord has better performance than his 525. He advised me to get 530d but the road tax gonna kill me. Any suggestion?

Bro,
You tested 7 units and concluded that Camry 2.0 has better performance than a 525i?
Wow, this is difficult to digest......:)

it's plausible that camry might have better performance...but it can't beat the way BMW drive. Underpower or not, the feel that you get when you are behind the wheel, is different bro....just my 2 cents

I have been admiring 525 for many years but I accidently bought my current car two years earlier when 525 came here. Maybe I didn't properly test the 525 at proper highway or 525 body is heavier than Camry? What can I do to improve 525 performance without scarifying the beautiful look of E60. I was considering 520d (F10) *before *but I prefer E60 exterior compare to F10. I asked Mr. google but the answer is more to 530d. Could it be all the car that I tested having issue? Can any 525 owners share your experience how 's your car performance and what need to be done to improve the performance? Any suggestion? I need to ensure that I make right decision. I prefer E60 525 with M sport (awesome) but I might consider 530i/530d if that is the only way to enjoy E60 which I don't think it necessary. Never tested 530 yet, so no comment on them.

By the way, I am still looking for E60 525/530i/530d.

You do not drive BMW like camry.
Floor the pedal until RPM reach 6500 rpm and listen to the engine. WOW !!!
i6 engine power is at top RPM range.
