Apparently he got a 911 Turbo, an amazing supercar. A Porsche person told me that many BMW owners upgrade to Porsche after they get bored with BMW's power. So in the case of the Philippine president, it is a normal process :wink:


Anyway docray's car seem to have a low price selling price because it is considered a 2 year old car even though it is built and registered late in 2009. That's the way our 2nd hand car dealer network works but the price quoted should be steady till the end of the year.

The new 3-series F30 final production model may be shown during the Frankfurt motor show in Sept this year.

don't worry about the price. I believe it should be around 180k-190k above region.
reason being, i have lots of friend asking my car for that price.

also i just drop by AB jalan tun razak 2 hour ago. they indicate around 170k region for trading my 320d with current/latest i drive 320d
perhaps u wanna try motor trader/mudah for a better price

I just got my 320D performance edition. Really love it.
Would like to know if the engine sound can be improved?

The BMW 320d with idrive is RM 260,800 . I spoke to some exhaust guys in sunway and they told me changing the muffler and tip of the 320d exhaust system could change the sound of the car when idle and accelerating. Don't know much abt this though , but that ugly downward facing exhaust tip has got to go! . I'm definitely changing mine when I get the car. Love the saddle brown interior but sadly it only comes with the alpine white and black sapphire cars!!

260 That's 50k extra than the 320d I purchase but mine;s a preowned 2010 hence the price. I tot it was a good deal then and I doubt I'll regret it as its 50k diffrence

Just got back from dinner with Roland Ooi, Quill PJ's director. Maniac bro also met us earlier for coffee at Quill.

Few things Roland answered for us forumers:

(1) Changing the rims won't invalidate the warranty except for things closely connected with the rim change-e.g. suspension problems, then they won't honour that part of the warranty. But if the engine gives problem, since it's not closely related to you changing the rims, then they will repair the engine fault.

(2) Euro 4 fuel only in 2015 now-the government has pushed back the dates.

(3) 520d coming March 2011

(4) Probably the big 3L diesels will NEVER make it to Malaysia because people don't want to pay that type of money for the big diesel cars which will cost more than their equivalent petrol versions (because the higher cost of producing a diesel engine) which already don't sell like hot cakes e.g. the 335i.

You get the iDrive and M Sports kit, not the Performance kit.Go to any BMW dealer today and see it in their showrooms-also CNY celebrations going on yesterday and today too-Lion Dance show etc..

Sean, here you can see the iDrive in the 320d-mind you, its smaller than the one in the 5 series.
