Hi guys,Just got my 2001 E46 325. Previous owner didn't give me any manuals however. I noticed that the ICE (radio/CD/tape) volume automatically increases (i.e. louder) when car speed goes higher and decreases when speed is lower.Sound like a nifty feature, but somehow the algorithm is a little off. If I set it right at idle, then when car picks up speed it becomes too loud; and vice-versa. Any way to switch off this feature or change the increase/decrease pattern?

Thanks for the invite. Have something on unfortunately. Hope someone can still help me though...

no problem...your answers should come to you soon ...all the sifus currently ZZZZZZZZZZ...cheers.

alxy,
you can reset the volume/speed control using the same 'button' that sets the bass, treble, balance etc.. mine reads number 4 and it suits me fine.

Thanks okow. Didn't know I had to press it down a few seconds to get out that menu. It's OK now.

okow...one more question. When press the button after getting the SPEED setting, I get the TP MIN setting, which ranges from 0-9. What does that do? What is the effect of the SPEED and TP MIN setting? Anyone with the radio manual can please put the text that explains these settings?

Thanks!

aiyo ask you come TT you dunwan okow and 20 other sifus were there...:D

Okow where are you?

Just found out, TP MIN is for traffic report volume. No impact to the SPEED thing since we don't have that in this country.

XXX, difference between dunwan and cannot... :)

dunwan is bcos you cannot, cannot is bcos you dunwan...:D:D:D
