There is a "secret" compartment underneath my car's armrest and a Coin box in center console.
There is flashlight in the glove box.
There is also a first aid kit under the passengers seat.

Dont Have this in My UDM

Leakwoon,

Secret Compartment i have it..sorry for the wrong post!
However for the flash light & First aid kit for sure wasnt there when i bought the car.

Is a trend here in Sabah/KK when the car arrived at the port, most of the item gone missing before the car dealer took it out, or sometimes the sales man took it out before reach the showroom.Did asked them the answer i got from them "Boss u punya kereta datang memang ini macam"

thanks bro leakwoon, it's very informative i will apply to my ride soon...

err by the way did u know how to reset service counter?

thanks

28. Put your turn signal either on the left or right position, with no key in the ignition, close the door and walk away. What you will see is the front blinker, and rear turn signal stay lit. From what I read, it's supposed to be a feature to for people to see your car when it's parked at night in those really tight streets in Europe. This way no one accidentally drives into your car.

Batt wont habis ke? But if we turn right signal, only the right one stay lit..Cant we make both right & left for the front?

Bro, im not really clear on this

In Euro delivery cars, there is a warning triangle in a blue plastic case that bolts to the left rear of the trunk and a first aid kit under the passenger seat.
38. Apparently "there's a cheat code in the software running the BMW M3's sequential manual gearbox (SMG). Press the right buttons in the right order and the car will launch you from a stop after revving the engine to 5,000 rpm". "But there is a catch. In Europe, where the feature isn't so hush-hush, doing more than 15 launches voids the car's warranty. Federal laws prohibit such stipulations here, so BMW has turned down the which. US-spec cars are programmed to wind to only 2,500 rpm. That's why you have to ask your dealer to install the European software. Most will happily oblige"

"For lucky drivers of this hot car, here's how: Switch of the stability system and select shift program six. Switch the engine to sport mode. With the hand shifter in drive, hold it in the downshift position and press the has pedal. The engine will rev to the preprogrammed rpm and hold. Now release the shifter. The car will launch forward violently and the engine's revs will climb quickly, so be prepared to up shift"
Launch Mode.. I guess..

Steps

1. On sport mode.. ( in 1st gear)

2. Press DSC ( Don't release the button )

3. Wait until the DSC turn to green ( green light only on for 3 second )

4. Press the pedal..

5. Ready to shift the gear.. 2...3...4... scared already la..

Don't try.. later your engine gone.. :D :D Its in the manual handbook.. look for SMG gearbox column....

Hope I'm rite ..

bro i like ur SMG

lol
Go for SMG 11 only available for M3 model. Revised version. With the respond control. The only -ve factor about SMG is the 'acuater' or the hydraulic pump unit, cannot last. Its very much depend on your driving style. FYI: The unit price is about RM 5k. Mine SMG1 and just changed new 'acuater' last February 06.. :(

Has anyone noticed that the rear mat in the trunk is reversible? Just flip it over and you have a rubberized mat to keep things from sliding around!!!

LeakWoon, One day should get you down to the car park to try this stuff out man.....hehehehe...All this really makes investing to my Bimmer more worth while......... :yahoo:

RESET Service Interval :

You only need to hold the left odometer reset button while turning the key to position 1 (Accessory). Keep holding the button for 5 or so seconds until any of the following shows in the display: OIL SERVICE or INSPECTION with RESET or RE. Release the button and press it again for another 5 or so seconds until RESET or RE flash. While the display flashes, press the button one more time briefly. If done correctly, END SIA should show up for a few seconds. All done.

To get your head unit info:

Access the headunit software version number and week/year build of the headunit:

With the ignition off, turn on radio.
Hold "m" key for ~ 10 seconds, until the unit serial number is displayed.
Press the key under the "+"
The week/year build of the headunit and the software version is displayed. The software version is the right two digits.
