hi guys, we are really living in dangerous times. 2 years back, my wifes car was stolen in front of my parents house, SS18. My car broken into once there as well. after moving to USJ3 to my own place, my car was broken into once, neighbours within 2-4 house either way have been victims of crime in one way or another in our area.. You never really expect it to happen to you, cause its always "other" people.

But my worst fears came true a couple of days ago. I don't know if you guys have been reading the papers recently, a report of a woman abducted for 90 mins, and forced to withdraw all her money etc.. supposed to be the work of this "Camry" gang? That woman was my wife, and it happened right in front of my house, on a weekday at 1pm. Thank god she was not hurt at all. They only wanted money, and after that, dropped her off at metropolitan college and gave her RM10 to take a taxi.

3 young malays, look like college kids, dressed like college kids. driving a W124 silver merc. car is fully pasted with sun shades.

take extra care guys.. we might say, "don't flaunt it", but crime strikes at everyone. besides that, the very fact that we drive bmw's is flaunting it already, hard to stay lowprofile that way....

hope to see you guys at the TT tonite in puchong.

cheers.

luckily your other half is okay. raya times are coming soon. BE EXTRA CAREFUL.

btw, tonite got tt at puchong ah ? can join ah ? tak pernah pigi.

1+2=3.
Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Yes, I read about that incident and the thought that went through my mind was...how scarry and traumatised the poor victim would have been not knowing what would happen next. Im glad that she wasnt physically harmed although she would be... mentally. Be close to her at all times as her fear of being a target again will linger in her mind for quite sometime.

Aparrently the "Camry Gang" has been operating for quite sometime mostly in the Subang, USJ area...something like 18 victims already and still on the prowl.
Subang/USJ has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons these days...from murders (2 teenage sisters accused of murdering their mat salleh step father), murder of a Singaporean businessmen (thought to be a ah long), kidnap of a kid whose body was eventually found in a suitcase (accused China National and a relative of the boy), another kidnap of a school kid that was eventually found....slash and rob cases...and these were only a few that I can remember that happened in the last few months. All these were serious crimes that made it to the news. Oh, there's this new case of another body found in another suitcase off the LDP. 3 college students arrested....I believe they are also either from Subang or Sunway.

Its good to share these info and be on the alert at all times.

Hey gary,

I understand ur situation coz almost some of us had experience it before too :(

The world is fine, is the only things is bad (is the society of peoples - rotten apples) that's wat the cause is.

Anyway, see u tonite bro...

USJ, Subang and may I add Sunway area are notorious now for robberies, car jacking and what not.

My colleague's wife had her car carjacked right in front of her house, the robbers were armed and said they only wanted the car (new Camry). Few weeks later, my colleague's Perdana was stolen in the early wee hours. The scary part was when he received a birthday card from these guys together with all his private documents which was left in the car!! He has since moved out from Sunway, tired of living in constant fear.

Please be on the look out for these vehicles with these numbers: obviously these are all false number plates but the gang seems to interchange the numbers with cars used. If this is indeed the "Camry Gang" they operate in Subang/USJ and Bandar Utama.

Silver Toyota Camry - WMW 6638
Golden Toyota Camry - WNU 9232
Beige Mercedes Benz - PFY 1221
Orange Gen 2 - XXX 6610
Proton Wira – XXX XXX
Silver Perdana - WJP 3738

Description: 2 Malay guys ( 20 -30 yrs old) One thin and the other stout. Could be up to 4 guys at times.
Please be careful!

the guys who robbed my wife were 2, both about 5ft7in, are brothers, fair skinned(almost like chinese), short hair, clean shaven malay men, 20-25, and 1 malay man, 20-25, clean shaven, short hair, dark coloured skin, and fat.

car was a silver mercedes, she didnt get a good look at the number,
but its W** 99**

usual modus operandi is: use of stolen "luxury cars" to attract less attention.
abducts victim, take credit cards, cash from ATM, and drops of victim after that.

latest news reports today claims that they may also have started to operate in a gang as large as 8 people, with up to 3 cars.

1+2=3,

Glad ur missus unharmed but yes, she would be emotionally traumatised. Be with her during this period of recovery...

DARN! Hope they nab the BASTARDS!

These 2 guys?
