Lets make things clear...
1. Comm has made a decision...fine. Its a decision.
2. I'm not asking the Comm to reverse it.
3. My question is why/ the rationale for the decision... this decision will open the floodgates to accusations of unfairness on basis of religion, race, taste etc (like the examples i gave). Based on the Comm's decision, further example..If one does not eat certain dishes, should one be made to pay for them?
4. When the Comm makes these decisions, and create segregations, the consequences are far reaching...and we allow segregation in this Club, and I am sure this will ail this Club (as it does this country presently).
5. Pursuant to the above rationale, If this Comm sees fit to re examine its decision, great....
I've said my piece, so I await the Comm's explanation on "why create this segregation?". (as made clear exhaustively, in my 1st post)
First and foremost, it wasn't the MCs decision on the beer chip-in program. Its all mine because I notice beer is not listed in last year's expenses. Further check and found out droid and johnj paid for it. I can choose to keep quiet, meaning club pays for the beer where many don't consume alcohol, even DigitalPunk for that matter. Or I can approach Johnj or Droid to continue sponsor, or just try my luck and get drinkers to chip-in.
Perhaps the remark I made was wrong because I use the word "unfair", which at that point of time, that's my only thought. Not knowing its a sponsor with ads put up in the AD. My mistake for not contacting the senior to ask why they pay for the beer. I thought no one wants to pay, that why they pay.
The beer chip-in program continue whether Droid or JohnJ is sponsoring to get ad space in exchange.
My apology to those whom's feeling was disturbed by my "unfair" statement.
Hope I answered your question.
