RM50 is all we need to cover cockage for bringing in 2 sponsored barrels and in fact I only need about a dozen to cover the bill. Additional collection will all go to the club's coffer.

This is on volunteering basis, last year the entire bill (Hotel barrels) were sponsored by 2 of our own members. This year we all chip in la..

Two individuals offered to sponsor the beer in return for their company logos to be displayed with other sponsors during the Annual Dinner.

Sponsors happy, members happy...that's what it matters? :rock:

OK! I'm reactivating this thread for tani/booze cockage chip-in campaign.

Those drinkers among u will understand the evening be it Glitz ka! Glam ka! Its not complete without tani. We managed to get 2 fully sponsored barrels of "brewed and fermented malted barley beverage":beer::rock: But the hotel is slapping us kao kao with the cockage. I thought since this is a special interest among a handful of us, we shouldn't get the club to pay as it unfair to most who dun yam seng.

Why does the same issues that plague our gomen seem to be inflicting our Comm as well??????

On the same premise of being fair, if there are beef dishes, why are the Hindus pay for the beef dishes being provided?

and why are the vegetarians paying for the meat/egg dishes being provided????

Everything has been fairly covered across the board since this Club had been set up...and now why draw lines and cause Evident Obvious segregations?????

Are we allowing religion into this Club???? Was it not reminded by many this is a CAR Club??????????

Disgraceful behaviour la....disappointing and it gets worse time after time we give more and more chances.....

The point here is....... You are drawing lines of segregation when there never was !!!!!

Yes. Its for cockage only. It's going to be RM300++ per barrel.

Meanwhile, since blackrobe brought it up, the AD MC wish to confirm there's no beef in the AD menu and for vegetarian, kindly let us know in advance so we can make separate arrangement for u.

AB, nothing to do with pointers la but maybe you were not privy to the discussions held, but JohnJ and Berserkdroid actually offered to sponsor the beers without us asking, and in return to have ABS Group and Crunchy Frogo Production as part of the sponsors. So like many others, I do not understand what you meant by being not fair to them??

Anyhow, like what okow asked earlier what is the reason to raise this in the first place? First of all the story is innacurate and secondly it's irrelevant as the issue here is the corkage charges since you have managed to secure sponsors for beers!!

Or are you now asking JohnJ and Berserkdroid to sponsor the corkage charges or an additional barrel??? LOL :rock::rock:

Since decision has been made, we should respect it irrespective whether it's a good or bad one.
